Numerous animal tests have confirmed that these polymers are safe and make drugs perform better. We offer two distinct polymers: ExCell™ polymers form micelles, virus-sized (<100nm) particles that evade the immune system. ExCell is well-suited for formulating injectable drugs that are difficult to dissolve or do not last long enough in the body, increasing solubility of some drugs by a factor of 500 times and extending release for up to 2 weeks. PolyGel™ uses a variation of our polymers to create thermosensitive gels – PolyGel is liquid at room temperature and a thick gel at body temperature. This remarkable property makes it possible to apply medication as an eye-drop, lotion, spray, or as a localized injection. PolyGel has been shown to have dermal penetration properties.
