What a great place to hang out on a Friday night and do something a little different. Food is good, Pub food for sure, service is nice and the staff is friendly. Played some pool and had a great time

The food is awesome here, the tables shoot well, the staff is super friendly ! A great place to come hang out, Had a not so great experience one time but the owners went above and beyond to take care of it! Recommend checking it out.

On Monday November the 16th, our 2 adult children took my husband an I to Metro for my hubby's birthday and our 24th wedding anniversary, it was the best fun we have had in a long time and a BIG shout out goes to our server, Matthew!! He was friendly and took great care of us, we were very impressed with the service he provided, we will definitely go back!!

Metro Billiards is an awesome place to have great food and play some pool the atmosphere is great the servers are amazing and always smiling its great

Love this place. It's a regular for work and personal hangouts. Their service has always been great and I've had them go above and beyond when things went awry. The menu is diverse and guaranteed to have something that everyone will enjoy. I'm not much of a pool/sports guy, but what brings me in is the good specials and the beer selection! If you like variety then this is your place!

I'm in there regularly. They have some delicious eats no matter your tastes! My fav is the perfection burger, but the spicy wonton soup is to die for! Staff is always friendly as are the other patrons. Tables are very well kept and my kids always ask to go back.(during the day, of course!) Cheers guys and gals! Keep up the good work!

I just found out about Metro back in February. Ever since it has been my tradition to meet up with my friends there the minute I get back from a shift up in Fort Mac. Now that I'm back working in town, I still go once or twice a week. Metro has great atmosphere, service, an extensive bar and there's over a dozen tables so there's usually not a problem getting a table right away. I can see myself being a regular there for as long as I live in Edmonton.

I enjoyed my experience at METRO, the food is amazing ( the fries, order all of them when you go!!!) The service was amazing!!!

Had a fantastic time and food was delicious staff were friendly as well

Great spot to have drinks and play pool. Amazing customer service. Bartenders and waitresses are awesome people.

very professional on the phone and asked "what do you expect

from us"? Great question to ask , I just wanted to have fun and

good service. When we arrived Saturday May 30 he came to great

me and my friends. He has such a wonderful attitude, so

positive and cheerful. Every time new friends came in he was

there greeting them and taking orders. He provided excellent

service. When they ran out of the beer I was drinking he came

with a different one. It didn't sit well with my stomach so he

took it away and came back with the perfect cider. He truly went

above and beyond the whole evening. He really made the

difference from a good night to a great night. Thanks Mathew for

a great birthday!!

Everyone's courteous, and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious, and Blair is right, the servers are babes. Anytime at Metro is a good time :)

Well cared for pool tables and cues if you don't bring your own. Huge selection of food and bev, friendly attentive staff. Never disappoints.

The metro has the best food, me and some fellow students love going there all the time! It's always fun. I'm usually not one for writing bad reviews but today we had one of the worst servers I've ever experienced. As a fellow restaurant industry worker I am pretty understanding, but this women was just plain rude. She didn't once smile or say hello, and made rude comments towards us. I will still go to metro as I enjoy the food and atmosphere very much, but hope I do not get this women as my server again. I'd also like to add the manger gave us a 25$ certificate which we did appreciate :)

Great service and beers available. Had to wait for a table to open up! Food was quick and tasty, thanks Metro we’ll be back!

Service was not that bad but I personally think food should arrive a little faster so that one eats and relish more food and beer than sitting and waiting upset. Overall it is a favorite place. I wanna give 5 stars but I worry what if they reduce the quality of bar haha.

Edit: Since The Metro reached out to me and attempted to make it up to me I'll give them another star for caring! Shows that maybe this was just one bad experience and they're trying.



Got there and they had 5 tables reserved on a Saturday. Waited an hour for them to find us a table. Played for an hour and they asked us to sit down because that table was now booked. They sent us to another table, which still had players on it. At this point the booking had still not arrived. 1 hour+ after their reservation. Waited and ate some food and the service was kinda slow considering the place was empty. Decided to leave and go to a different place because they didn't seem to want to fill the 5 open tables. Was there from 5:45 until 8:30 and their 5 tables were still empty and they refused to let us play. Only got 45 minutes of actual pool in..



They apologized.. But didn't really make it up to us. Like a free drink or something at the least would have been a nice gesture. We all tried not to be rude and calm but it was frustrating- enough to write this review. I don't understand what the point of holding a booking for several hours if the customers don't show up.. But it lost them at least a few hundred dollars. Our server was sympathetic and polite, food was pretty decent! Just sad that we had such a bad experience.



It would be great if they had a no show policy that let us play 15-30 minutes after their reservation if nobody showed up. I mean, if we had been allowed to play on those empty tables we would have left before anyone showed up. I should note that the entire restaurant side was waiting for a table as well...



A lot of frustrated people left and mentioned they were having the same issue.

Pool tables are fabulous but the downside it is very cold sitting beside the windows and the service is atrocious I had to wait 45 minutes for a cup of coffee and everybody with me also had to wait several times for their drinks. Also my friend ordered a bud 20 minutes later the waitress came back around and asked if we wanted anything my friend said I'd like my but please she's like oh I'm sorry another 20 minutes goes by and she still hasn't brought it I had to walk to the bar and get it myself very bad service

Meh.. ..usually this place is usually good but tonight was not too busy. They decided to give us a new waitress...Not my bill...they made a wreck out of the other bills we are regular customers not being so regular after tonight.

I just found out about Metro back in February. Ever since it has been my tradition to meet up with my friends there the minute I get back from a shift up in Fort Mac. Now that I'm back working in town, I still go once or twice a week. Metro has great atmosphere, service, an extensive bar and there's over a dozen tables so there's usually not a problem getting a table right away. I can see myself being a regular there for as long as I live in Edmonton.

I enjoyed my experience at METRO, the food is amazing ( the fries, order all of them when you go!!!) The service was amazing!!!

Had a fantastic time and food was delicious staff were friendly as well

Great spot to have drinks and play pool. Amazing customer service. Bartenders and waitresses are awesome people.

Good food friendly staff a great place to relax and shoot some pool

Fun place and great staff. Always enjoy coming. Never had a bad experience.

very professional on the phone and asked "what do you expect

from us"? Great question to ask , I just wanted to have fun and

good service. When we arrived Saturday May 30 he came to great

me and my friends. He has such a wonderful attitude, so

positive and cheerful. Every time new friends came in he was

there greeting them and taking orders. He provided excellent

service. When they ran out of the beer I was drinking he came

with a different one. It didn't sit well with my stomach so he

took it away and came back with the perfect cider. He truly went

above and beyond the whole evening. He really made the

difference from a good night to a great night. Thanks Mathew for

a great birthday!!

Everyone's courteous, and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious, and Blair is right, the servers are babes. Anytime at Metro is a good time :)

Well cared for pool tables and cues if you don't bring your own. Huge selection of food and bev, friendly attentive staff. Never disappoints.

The metro has the best food, me and some fellow students love going there all the time! It's always fun. I'm usually not one for writing bad reviews but today we had one of the worst servers I've ever experienced. As a fellow restaurant industry worker I am pretty understanding, but this women was just plain rude. She didn't once smile or say hello, and made rude comments towards us. I will still go to metro as I enjoy the food and atmosphere very much, but hope I do not get this women as my server again. I'd also like to add the manger gave us a 25$ certificate which we did appreciate :)

Service was not that bad but I personally think food should arrive a little faster so that one eats and relish more food and beer than sitting and waiting upset. Overall it is a favorite place. I wanna give 5 stars but I worry what if they reduce the quality of bar haha.

Edit: Since The Metro reached out to me and attempted to make it up to me I'll give them another star for caring! Shows that maybe this was just one bad experience and they're trying.



Got there and they had 5 tables reserved on a Saturday. Waited an hour for them to find us a table. Played for an hour and they asked us to sit down because that table was now booked. They sent us to another table, which still had players on it. At this point the booking had still not arrived. 1 hour+ after their reservation. Waited and ate some food and the service was kinda slow considering the place was empty. Decided to leave and go to a different place because they didn't seem to want to fill the 5 open tables. Was there from 5:45 until 8:30 and their 5 tables were still empty and they refused to let us play. Only got 45 minutes of actual pool in..



They apologized.. But didn't really make it up to us. Like a free drink or something at the least would have been a nice gesture. We all tried not to be rude and calm but it was frustrating- enough to write this review. I don't understand what the point of holding a booking for several hours if the customers don't show up.. But it lost them at least a few hundred dollars. Our server was sympathetic and polite, food was pretty decent! Just sad that we had such a bad experience.



It would be great if they had a no show policy that let us play 15-30 minutes after their reservation if nobody showed up. I mean, if we had been allowed to play on those empty tables we would have left before anyone showed up. I should note that the entire restaurant side was waiting for a table as well...



A lot of frustrated people left and mentioned they were having the same issue.

Pool tables are fabulous but the downside it is very cold sitting beside the windows and the service is atrocious I had to wait 45 minutes for a cup of coffee and everybody with me also had to wait several times for their drinks. Also my friend ordered a bud 20 minutes later the waitress came back around and asked if we wanted anything my friend said I'd like my but please she's like oh I'm sorry another 20 minutes goes by and she still hasn't brought it I had to walk to the bar and get it myself very bad service

Meh.. ..usually this place is usually good but tonight was not too busy. They decided to give us a new waitress...Not my bill...they made a wreck out of the other bills we are regular customers not being so regular after tonight.

I met one of the cooks at the DT hockey arena and also recommended. Great place to work at he said! I am glad that I tried it out and I will be back for a burger for sure ! Went in for an office lunch...took waitress 25 minutes to acknowledge us and take our order. The order didn't arrive by the time we had to go and she came to tell us the kitchen had to do part of the order again as it had been done wrong. She eventually brought us cold food which we had to package up to go and take back to work. Wont be going back

What a great place to hang out on a Friday night and do something a little different. Food is good, Pub food for sure, service is nice and the staff is friendly. Played some pool and had a great time

On Monday November the 16th, our 2 adult children took my husband an I to Metro for my hubby's birthday and our 24th wedding anniversary, it was the best fun we have had in a long time and a BIG shout out goes to our server, Matthew!! He was friendly and took great care of us, we were very impressed with the service he provided, we will definitely go back!!

Metro Billiards is an awesome place to have great food and play some pool the atmosphere is great the servers are amazing and always smiling its great

Loved it. Great vibe for a casual night out. One of my favorite places in Edmonton.

Love this place. It's a regular for work and personal hangouts. Their service has always been great and I've had them go above and beyond when things went awry. The menu is diverse and guaranteed to have something that everyone will enjoy. I'm not much of a pool/sports guy, but what brings me in is the good specials and the beer selection! If you like variety then this is your place!

I'm in there regularly. They have some delicious eats no matter your tastes! My fav is the perfection burger, but the spicy wonton soup is to die for! Staff is always friendly as are the other patrons. Tables are very well kept and my kids always ask to go back.(during the day, of course!) Cheers guys and gals! Keep up the good work!
