Metta Yoga Calgary Description

Moksha Yoga is a green, clean, hot yoga series that stretches, strengthens and tones the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. While all classes are rooted in the Moksha Yoga series, teachers are encouraged to bring their own unique knowledge and experience every time they enter the room to teach. Whether you are new to Moksha or a veteran, they work with you to create the utmost experience for you. After only a short time, they come to know your name and your specific injuries or abilities to guide you through your practice and create an intimate experience for you alone. The cosy seating area provides a space for relaxation as you drink the provided hot spiced tea. Each time I visit, I am greeted by name and receive a customized yoga practice no matter how many yogis in the class. IвҖҷm still a newbie to Moksha and this studio but have been coming regularly for over 2 months. I usually end up in Lindsay or AlanaвҖҷs class. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. They are quick to offer variations due to injuries to help make it a great practice. CanвҖҷt say enough about them. I genuinely look forward to getting up and starting my day there and love their classes(Although sometimes the part I look forward to is the mid class savasana)

I started here last month with the intro month and am now in the midst of the 30 day challenge and I'm hooked! It's been awhile since I've practiced yoga regularly but this studio has helped me transition back into my practice with great instructors and classes that can be modified to any level of experience. When you join the studio you feel like in a family where everyone cares for you. I love this place! All the instructors are warm and friendly - and when you walk in you're greeted with big smiles. I try to come into the studio about 4-6 times a week (give or take) and i can honestly say practicing regularly has REALLY reduced my anxiety and helped me manage day-to-day stress better. I feel calmer, more at peace and have fallen hard for hot yoga. The teachers are so awesome and truly care about their students. Highly recommend!!!

I have vertigo and not very flexible so I thought yoga wasn't for me. A year ago my friends and I thought we'd give it a try to celebrate Mother's day. Here I am a year after and about to celebrate another Mother's day with Moksha. I'm very glad I made that decision and now I'm hooked! пҝҪ Brandi was also very accommodating with the various changes in my circumstances and I truly appreciate that. I am currently in the midst of my 3rd 30 day challenge at Moksha and am loving this one even more than the last. I really loved last nights 75 min flow with Alex in particular because she not only encouraged us to use blocks where we normally wouldn't but she also started off the practice with different postures than the norm. I love that she did that because it really forced me to focus and pay attention as opposed to anticipating the next posture and rushing through things. Thanks Alex!

I feel calmer, more at peace and have fallen hard for hot yoga. The teachers are so awesome and truly care about their students. Highly recommend!!!

I have vertigo and not very flexible so I thought yoga wasn't for me. A year ago my friends and I thought we'd give it a try to celebrate Mother's day. Here I am a year after and about to celebrate another Mother's day with Moksha. I'm very glad I made that decision and now I'm hooked! пҝҪ Brandi was also very accommodating with the various changes in my circumstances and I truly appreciate that. I have been practicing here for over a year now and I love it. The teachers are so friendly, fun and very helpful. My practice has progressed to headstands, jump throughs, to backbends, itвҖҷs just amazing to me.

Thanks for the past year of practice for my body, mind and soul. ItвҖҷs been awesome! Looking forward to more challenges. Namaste!

I had the privilege of taking one of AshleighвҖҷs 75 minute moksha classes tonight...one of the best classes I have ever taken and now sheвҖҷs one of my favourite instructors.

I canвҖҷt begin to describe how much I love MYCN. I start to unwind when I take my first step through the door. IвҖҷm always welcomed with a smile from a friendly face and a genuine вҖҳhow are youвҖҷ, or an upbeat вҖҳhey, howвҖҷs it goingвҖҷ? The studio and change rooms are always clean, the showers always hot, and the teachers are always attentive and caring. Tranquillity starts at my first sip of yummy hot tea. ThatвҖҷs when I know IвҖҷm here, IвҖҷm present and IвҖҷm welcoming a change. Blissfully calm is how I feel after a classвҖҰmaybe because I finally learned how to breathe. Thank you MYCN!

I am currently in the midst of my 3rd 30 day challenge at Moksha and am loving this one even more than the last. I really loved last nights 75 min flow with Alex in particular because she not only encouraged us to use blocks where we normally wouldn't but she also started off the practice with different postures than the norm. I love that she did that because it really forced me to focus and pay attention as opposed to anticipating the next posture and rushing through things. Thanks Alex!
