Christmas & New Year’s Party! Your Michener Park Resident's Association (MPRA) is arranging a combined Christmas and New Year’s party on Saturday 29th December from 06:00 PM-08:00 PM in the Community Room in Vanier House. There will be a kids drawing competition to win special prizes!
There will be three groups of kids, 4-6 yrs, 7-10 yrs and above 10 yrs old. Art paper, colored pencils will be supplied. The best drawing from each group will get prize. Drawing will run from 3....30pm to 4.30pm. Kids must bring their parents! Please register your kids for the competition by sending email (name and age) at mpra@ualberta.ca.
All current MPRA members are invited for the combined Christmas and New Years’ party. MPRA will provide pops, fruits, Pizza and snacks. This event is for current MPRA members. Non-members can attend the event with a small fee. Non-members can also have a chance to pay on spot and become MPRA member during the event. Make it a Christmas holiday to remember! Celebrate the holiday with us.

MPRA Halloween Party Wednesday, October 31, 2018, between 06:00 PM-08:00 PM in the community room, Vanier house Looking for Halloween party? Here's your chance to combine your favourite things - costumes and dancing! Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume and join our party.
Best Halloween costume will get a prize. Children under 10 years old should be accompanied by their parents. We will have fun and can pose for lots of photos.

Please be advised that on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm an authorized Pharmacist from Lansdowne PharmaSave will be providing flu shot vaccinations to residents in the Community Room (Vanier House) at Michener Park. If this time does not work well for you, you are welcome to visit the Landsdowne PharmaSave at 5124 - 1...22 Street Store Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Saturday and Sundays: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Holidays: Closed

MPRA Annual Parade of Nations “Passport to the World” Saturday, 22 September 2018, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Your MPRA is very pleased to announce our annual Parade of Nations from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Michener Park. The Parade of Nations strives to promote worldwide culture and international awareness in our beautiful residence. Expect flags, food, and family entertainment presented with international flair. The event is open to all ages and abilities.... The parade begins at 12 p.m. at the Vanier House, making its way across the Michener Park. Residents from different nationalities will march round the residence and will bring their own traditional foods.
To all Michener Park families! Show your Parade of Nations spirit by joining the parade and dress traditionally according to your culture (nation)! This will showcase the vibrant multicultural environment of the community. We are expecting a large participation of kids.
If you are interested in bringing a dish, please check the following rules:  Register via email to mpra@ualberta.ca  Only one dish from a household  The dish should be for around 20 persons, bite-size  MPRA will reimburse up to a maximum of 40 CAD for the first 20 volunteers with upon receipts. Non-members will need to purchase tickets at the venue to attend the food event!

It is time to renew/ apply for your Michener Park Residence Association membership for the year 2018-2019. The membership fees are only 20 CAD for each unit/ family. Call for Nomination for MPRA Executive Committee for 2017-18 Academic Year Hello MPRA Members! This is again time to form new executive committee for Michener Park Residents' Association (MPRA) for 2017-18 academic year. These executive members will be directly elected by the current MPRA members like you. The election will take place in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled on April 29, 2017 (3pm to 5pm). If you reside in Michener Park and interested in becoming a part ...of the executive committee of MPRA for next year, please visit the MPRA website (https://sites.ualberta.ca/~mpra/index.ht ml), fill-out and submit a Google Form to nominate yourself for any position of the eight executive positions. MPRA Community Gardening 2017 Have you always wanted to grow your own vegetables? Michener Park Residents' Association (MPRA) offers over fifty community garden plots to the residents of Michener Park for seasonal lease (May 15, 2017 to October 15, 2017) in the basis of first-come, first-served. Cost for a plot is $25 for the MPRA members who have paid the annual fee for 2016-17 year and $35 for non-members. There is also a mandatory deposit of $100, which will be returned after the lease. To apply for MPRA Community Gardening for 2017, please visit the MPRA website at (https://sites.ualberta.ca/~mpra/index.ht ml), fill-out and submit a Google Form by April 28, 2017. Before you apply, please read the rules & regulations set by MPRA in the website.

SPRING IS HERE! Michener Park Resident's Association (MPRA) is organizing an Easter Egg Hunt Party for kids on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the outdoor recreational area at Michener Park.
Welcome to the spring season with full of fun activities and creating family memories. There will be egg hunts for each age group, special prizes for those who find the GOLDEN EGG!
... This will be the perfect opportunity for the Michener park community to enjoy and socialize with friends, family, and neighbors!
