I needed an oil change before I left camping. I was able to book an appointment, and had it done while I waited. The young tech who worked on it was very sweet.

We have used this family owned shop for many years. The service is excellent and the prices are fair. Not just tires either. We love to support local business and this is a prime example.

I have been a regular customer at Midnapore Tirecraft for more than 10 years, and with several different cars - without exception, I have gotten terrific, efficient, honest service. I rarely have to wait for an appointment, the car is always ready before I expect it, and the bill is always straightforward and fair. It's rare to find a shop that does the work that is necessary for safety but doesn't try to up sell. And a bonus - you're greeted by the most lovely dogs!

Amazing place. I was able to get my moms tire fixed in a few hours. She was just driving into town and they were helpful. They also were able to fix my sisters tires at another time with no hassles . I HIGHLY recommend them over anyone else in the area. It's also cool to see the owner getting involved with the day to day work needs . He's the Rob Ryan from the NFL looking dude .

they come off as a very friendly family run business. I had quite a few oil changes and regular scheduled checkups done there until I was told that my back differential fluid had to be changed. Given that I don't have the tools or expertise to do this myself I paid for them to do this. I also had been having trouble with my passenger seat belt not working properly and my passenger door being stiff and not opening easily. (jeep wrangler door with hinge on outside) After leaving there paying a bill over $300 I was told that my seatbelt had been taken apart and cleaned and that they took the bushings out and cleaned them as well and the differential fluid had been changed.

A week later I had to give them a call back because the second time someone sat in my passenger seat the seat belt wouldn't work again and the door had become stiff again as well. Over the phone I was told that I would need to have the whole seat belt replaced and that the bushings were too rusted and if the door was sticking again it meant that they had rusted into the hinges so I would have to have the entire hinge replaced. The factory hinges come in black so I would have to pay to have them painted the color of my jeep. In total, they emailed a quote to fix my passenger hinges and the seat belt for $707!!! I was totally pissed off that I would have to fork out more money and knew that there was no way they had taken out the bushings from my door hinges and cleaned them and then have them cease up again within a week not to mention rust into the hinges. I phoned a friend of and friend who is a mechanic and he offered to have a look. I ordered the top of the line bushings online from a jeep supplier for about $80. The mechanic took apart my seatbelt and showed me all the dirt that came out. He assured me that there was no possible way they had cleaned that seat belt the previous week. He also switched out my bushings and they were so corroded that they came apart when he knocked them out of the hinge, so also no way they had been taken out and cleaned as midnapore tire told me they had. I left this mechanic having a great working seatbelt and door for $80 and a bottle of rum for the guy's help! pretty good deal compared to the $707 I was quoted by midnapore plus the original $300 bill.

The kicker is that the very next time I had to go in and get my oil changed I took it to a different shop and they told me I needed that back differential fluid changed. I told them I had just had it done a couple months before and he straight up told me there was no way and showed me the fluid and how dirty it was. He said even after a year the fluid shouldn't be as dirty as it was. I was completely ripped off by midnapore tire and paid for services they DIDN'T EVEN DO!!! don't be fooled by this fraudulent business. I'm just glad I didn't stay there long, I would be pissed if my jeep fell apart due to lack of upkeep when I actually paid for it.

Went in for a $200 job to replace A/C fluid. Got a $50 job where A/C was only topped up. Did not do what I asked, but charged for what I asked. They delete ratings under 4 from their "What our customers are saying - Midnapore Tirecraft" website. Is that honest? Similarly on Facebook. Typical shady. Stay away.

I know cars, just did not have the tools for A/C flush and fill. They are good for tire swap, tire repair. Anything else - make and effort and find an honest shop, there are some in Calgary...
