Milestones

We were here on a Monday Victoria Day weekend. Apparently they had a busy weekend and were out of a few things. The beet salad with quinoa, calamari and Asian chicken bites were all excellent with the local beer! It was a gorgeous day in the outdoor cafe with the carillon bells playing.

Spent a fabulous evening at a birthday party in the private room at Milestones downtown. They had each of us organized by numbers so we each for our own bill. Food and service was great!! I will keep them in mind for a private party for sure !

Pulled pork sandwich was lovely and the coconut torte amazing.

Have been in Canada for 10 days and this was the best meal I have had. Service was fantastic. Lovely outside table. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The seater,s don't appear to know what they are doing. The servers where fantastic especially the young male (Taven) he went above and beyond for us. The food and drinks were slow coming out, but the taste was worth the wait.

I made reservations 3 weeks in advance of my son's 18th birthday on the patio. No biggie. I call the restaurant a week prior to increase the number of people. Get to restaurant last night to be told they don't take reservations on the patio. Yet when I spoke to them a week prior no one said anything of the such. My reservation was also not updated! So my party of 7 sat at a table for 6. The waitress were rather rude about it to start. I mean really we were coming to you for my son's 18th birthday and it was nearly ruined. One of the lady's said that they should just push a table to the end of a 4 seat. After the seating issue dinner was decent. No complaints about the service or food after the initial disappointment.

There were four of us seated and the waitress brought 3 entrees and told us to enjoy our meal, not noticing one of us had no food. It took forever to get someone's attention and she finally got her salad as the rest of us were finishing. She had to rush, and then the waitress dissapeared while we were trying to pay. Time was of the essence as we were headed to a play, so a mediocre experience overall. Meal salads were underwhelming.

Sat at the table was told they had no prime rib or mashed potatoes. Ordered our food the two other people at my table got there's while I waited by the time it came I told them I didn't want it. They took it off the bill and gave it to me in a to go container. What kind of restaurant runs out of mashed potatoes? Pathetic.

Waiting an hour for our food ... � won’t be coming back.
