Absolutely one of the best Vietnamese style restaurants in Calgary. Always accommodating to adjusting a meal to unique requirements.

A group of 15 went to Mimosa last night and while the food was great, the service was a disaster. We had asked up front for separate bills and they said that they would have no problem with that. Appetiziers were ordered, some came and some didn't until the waiter was prompted to go and search for them. Everyone ordered their meals and it took another hour before we were served. The food was excellent and everyone raved about its quality and freshness. After the meal was finished, we waited for another half an hour before getting our bills. The waiter brought one bill for the whole table instead of the individual bills that we had requested. They forgot who had ordered what and we had to tell them so that they could ring in each individual item for each of our party separately. That process took another 40 minutes.
So, in conclusion, if you want great Vietnamese food, this is the place to go. But if you want good efficient customer service, stay away as it was a disorganized disaster.

Just tried this for the first time. Ordered Satay beef soup (spicy). Not that exciting, and spoiled by the cilantro, which is just my preference as I don't like it. That last few slurps were the tastiest part, so don't leave any broth ;)
I may have enjoyed it more of I weren't tainted by the mind-blowing, amazing peanut Satay soup at Nho Saigon in Marda Loop. Just can't compare anything to that. Very friendly service as I picked up my order. I'll likely try this again without the cilantro, but I might make the trip to Nho Saigon... It's worth it!

The food was good, the prices aren't too high, and our server was very polite.
