MINT Income Fund is a Canada-based closed-end investment trust. The Fund's investment objectives are to produce a high level of sustainable income and to minimize the risk of investing in high income securities on a cost effective basis. The Fund invests in a portfolio of securities consisting primarily of high yielding equity securities of issuers operating in various industries and geographic regions. The Fund may invest in securities that are not traded on a public stock exchange that may be illiquid. The Fund invests in various sectors, including real estate, financials, pipelines, industrials, healthcare, energy, consumer discretionary, preferred shares, corporate debt, consumer staples, technology, utilities, and metals and mining. Middlefield Limited is the manager of the Fund. Middlefield Capital Corporation (MCC) is the advisor of the Fund.
