If i could give a negative star i would. My friend had them move her and they wasted their time. Took 16 hours to move her house. Played with there stuff. Took all the little boxes and took none of there big stuff. Wasted time, took advantage of two women. Paid almost 4000 for a little house to move.

Avoid this company. Poor job packing, everything was done in such a rush that they were careless. The damaged furniture and walls, dropped boxes and furniture. Would never recommend them. One of the guys did not speak English and could not understand instructions. They struggled big time to take couch out of a basement. One nice guy (younger boy). The other two older guys did not care at all!

In May, I was booked weeks in advance with another moving company. On the day of my move, no one showed up and no one called. After several hours and frantic messages left, I finally started calling other moving companies. Miracle Movers was the third company I called and after hearing my story, George, the dispatcher called me back within minutes and said he could have a crew at my place in 1 1/2 hours. They saved the day and the crew was great! They showed up at the time promised and after already having done a full move in Okotoks, worked tirelessly for 8 hours to get me moved. They even took time to set up my beds in the new house! As a single woman, I always dread moving and this day was particularly stressful! Miracle Movers truly performed a miracle for me and I would highly recommend them. The other moving company ( which I never, ever heard back from) will be getting a very different review!!

We had mixed feelings about our experience with Miracle Movers during our move in Calgary. While the move itself was great and the team that we worked with were very efficient, we found the experience before and after our move to be very stressful.

First, on the evening before our move we received a call telling us that someone on our team was unavailable so they would not be able to be at our house at the scheduled time and we would have to wait until 4 hours later. We were planning to move while our daughter was in school, so that didn't work for us. Thankfully, they managed to find someone else to fill in and they were able to arrive at the scheduled time. They were even early, which was great.

After our move, we tried first to pay via e-transfer. The team did not communicate that until the e-transfer was processed and complete, they would not leave our house so for 20 minutes one of the movers awkwardly just sat on our couch waiting for the approval (even though we had sent the company a confirmation e-mail that the e-transfer had been sent). Eventually, we ended up paying via credit card just to get him out of our house. It was really awkward just having him sit there and not talking. He didn't even let us know that he was instructed to do so by the management team so we had no idea why he was just sitting there. After we switched to credit card payment, he just left without saying goodbye.

Honestly, it was just a really awkward experience and I'll probably use a more friendly company next time.

Good overall move. The customer service to book the appointment was great. The person I spoke with over email was informative and very helpful and made the process very easy. The cost per hour was significantly less than other movers and reading some of these reviews made me want to use this company.
However, the day of my move, I got a call (approximately 4 hours prior) telling me the crew (2 person $89/hr) that I had booked wouldn't be available as they were caught up with the prior job. They did however offer me a 3 person crew, but I would need to pay $125/hr which was already discounted (according to them). I didn't feel that was fair that I needed to pay the higher rate, as the reason the crew that was supposed to do my move, were no longer available to help me. Leaving me in a bind, I had no other choice but to accept the offer they provided. I feel in this situation (and it looks like I am not the first that this has happened to), this wasn't my responsibility to pay the extra cost. The movers arrived earlier than expected, which was fine and the movers themselves were very good. They moved our belongings with care & efficiency. The only other thing I didn't like, was that I was told that I could only pay by cash, when I know that I could have done an e-mail money transfer, however the supervisor who was with the crew said he could only accept cash because that was easier.
They are good movers, but I think for my next move I may go with someone else. I also haven't received any receipt for my move and it's been over a week.

Miracle Movers were the best movers I came across so far. The customer service was really good, they addressed all of my concerns and provided tips on how to get organised to decrease the moving time. Movers were great. Strong, pleasant guys, were really careful and made sure that the stuff goes to the rooms it was supposed to go. They had a great attitude and Daniel was the most polite and caring guy among the movers I hired before. Definitely recommend these guys. The quality/price ratio surprisingly good and satisfying.
