Mirchi Restaurant

Its a hit or miss. Used to be a regular but gave up after multiple bad experiences.

I love this place! It's honestly on the top of my list for Indian food. Their butter chicken and traditional naan bread is phenomenal. I eat here at least once a week and i seriously cannot get enough :) totally recommend this place!

What happened! Used to be our favourite but must have changed ownership. Quality of food is now terrible, and they did not fulfill our request for a change in the order. Butter chicken was bland, dal did not have much taste and portion sizes shrank. Mango lassi tasted like it was made from an instant powder.

I ordered food through skip the dishes and they swapped my order with someone else's order and sent me a platter for one, complained but by the time they were already closed and we ended up with a small platter for one, very disappointing. Will never order here again.

I've been to Mirchi three times now and the way I would describe it is inconsistent. They usually execute well on about 3/4 of the meal and then mess up 1/4 of it. First time the naan came out pretty burnt, second time my friend's order was mixed up and the third my raita had soured which was really off putting and there was no eggplant in my eggplant dish. Each time I've raised an issue the staff thanked me for letting them know, but otherwise acted pretty cavalier. There doesn't seem to be a real concern for the product or service provided to patrons. The kitchen is abuzz with chatter, but it doesn't seem to be about the task at hand (the food) and the focus isn't there.

With a little more care, I think it would be a great spot that you can get in and out of in 40 minutes with a good meal. However, I won't be returning to Mirchi again. It just isn't worth my money for a partial effort.

I tried the Shish kebab and side of fries and it was very well spiced. The meat was tender and had a good amount of kick to it. The only down side is the wait for the food is about 25min long. Still worth it

Mirchi is a great spot in the Beltline. The food is really flavorful and good value. I love their samosas which are made with fluffy dough.

This restaurant is very close to my place so, i order take out often when im shopping at safeway across the street from Mirchi. Their combos are always satisfying and the samosas are best,. Prices are very good for the portions and i am looking forward to the changes the staff told me about. This place rocks, but be expecting some spice. The food has some kick to it!

BEST RESTAURANT IN TOWN! I take my friends, family and even my clients. This place is amazing. It is far from where I live, but I will definitely go out of my way to get there. It is so worth it. You must try there Chicken Teeka and chick pea dish. Cheers!!!
