We recently filed a claim through our insurance and had a mold issue arise. Due to the nature of our policy, they were not covering the mold remediation. They referred us to their preferred vendor who offered us an outrageous quote. Thank goodness we called Mold Squad because they were able to do the work but at half the cost. Dieter and Susan are very prompt and professional and took the time to explain the process. It was a pleasure dealing with such a wonderful company during such a stressful time. Their work was very well organized, always on time and very clean. I would recommend Dieter and his team to anyone. It's so nice when you actually trust people going in and out of your house because you know it's in good hands. Thanks for the wonderful service Building Works.

My father-in-laws basement was becoming infested with mold. I had been recommended Mold Squad and I am sure glad I went with them! They were efficient, thorough and kind. I came back from vacation to find my hot water tank burst during my leave and mould was all over my basement. I almost had a melt down when I called several companies and either couldn't get a response, or they couldn't come out until the following week. My colleague recommended Mold Squad so I gave them a call and to my surprise they were out the same day to take control of the situation. I was very concerned about the health risks and was scared to even be in my home. I can't imagine going through this very stressful experience without a good company like mold squad helping us out. Mold Squad started off with great service, responding to e-mails quickly and setting up a time to get the project quoted. However, once the contract was signed the problems began. There was no communication as to what was happening with the project, they got a plumber in and didn’t tell us the results. Staff told other owners that finishing part of the project “wasn’t their problem” and when I brought up my concerns with the Project Manager he said I wasn’t the correct person to be talking to (when I got no other contact or calls regarding the project for over a week). I had to call numerous times to get information and they were rude and difficult. I was then told that the owner would be calling me and that the lady in the office would call me and two weeks later no calls have been made.
A project length estimate of one week took three weeks, with no connection with me to explain why. I would not recommend doing business with them – rude, unprofessional and discourteous staff. It is clear that as soon as they will get their money they do not care about their clients. Absolutely terrible experience
