This is the second time we have gone to this specific location. We had an awesome meal Our server was wonderful and very friendly.

Go here quite often with our 3 kids on a Tuesday night only when kids eat free with a paying adult, plus the balloon man is great. Kids always interact with him he's fab

One thing I would suggest, a small detail but when you have kids you notice, is there's no toddler steps in either bathrooms for them to be able to reach the sink to wash their hands

Food was very tasty even though my baked potato was cold and my steak was lukewarm. Our waitress was less than attentive. We asked for coleslaw when our meal came. It never arrived at our table she totally forgot to bring it to us.

Food was good, service wasn’t bad, however when it came to getting our kids dessert to go, we never got it. Seems to be a frequent thing no matter what Montana’s we go to we more often then not we do not receive our child’s dessert.

The food came out before the appy dishes were cleared, then our food was served without cutlery. Then my food showed up without my steak because it was dropped on the floor. Then we had to ask 3x for the children’s dessert because the server was to busy socializing with co workers instead of tending to tables. First time there and I feel we will never go back $100 and came away totally unhappy.

Server would not look at me when asking if there was anything else we needed and would only speak to my husband which we both found rude. The food was mediocre, the fried onions tasted like fish. As we were eating our appetizers we were informed by the server who seemed awkward about telling us that their debit machines were not working and they could only take cash. I feel this should have been done by the manager which we were told was too busy to speak to us because he was else where. This caused us to have to leave and come back with cash to pay for our dinner.



Overall I would not go back to Montana's at any location.

Wow! 50 minutes to get our meals!! We basically spent our whole afternoon eating our lunch. Server didn’t seem to care...she threw our receipts on the table and stormed off. Manager came over, she was not prepared to deal with complaints.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon at 2 PM hoping for a spot on the patio for some appetizers and drinks , only 3 people were seated on the patio but we were told it would be a 15 minute wait due to lack of staff, they said there was only 2 servers so they could not seat us... restaurant was less than half full. We decided not to wait since there was visibly many tables empty.

Terrible!!! My boyfriend and I celebrated our month anniv, hoping food will be great but unfortunately, we were disappointed.

We ordered potato skin for starter and we got an old just heated with cold shredded beef on top.

Wish i can share the picture we've taken.

My boyfreinds steak had to much pepper and when the pepper taste ran out all he could taste was salt. I also felt like my steak was from to seprate steaks and was lacking as well.

For sure we are not going back.

Normally I love this restaurant. My family and I head there for dinner at least a few times a month because my son loves it. However tonight we had an awful experience and there was very little effort put in to try and make it right. First of all my 3 year old son was served chicken fingers that were raw in the middle. Luckily I noticed before he ate too many but he still got one of them down and now has a wicked bad stomach ache. The food that my wife and I ordered was also sub par, I had a rack of baby back ribs that was more fat and gristle than meat and she had a salad where 50% of the lettuce was going brown around the edges. Mix that with the poor service of taking over 40 minutes to get our food and then no follow up afterwards and it makes for a pretty poor dining experience. All this being said, I have worked in the service industry before and completely understand that everybody has a bad night, but the fact that all they were willing to do after all of that was a 10% discount (which worked out to less that a third of the price of my ribs) is in my opinion a very sad attempt of customer service. I may have to think twice before heading here again, maybe next time it will have to be a Boston pizza night...

I recently approached Montana's because our Firm identified opportunity to lower the cost of utility delivery on a number of Montana's locations, including the St. Albert location. Considering we already helped a number of its competing restaurants like Boston Pizza, Canadian Brewhouse, Moxies, Browns and others, I figured Montana's would be extremely interested. Rather, I was brushed off by Montana's Regional Manager which suggests maybe they are less interested in containing operating costs than their competition.



Not many restaurant Owners are saying no to $4-5k per year per store in savings, so if you are the Owner seeing this, you may want to contact me.

Last night I took my family out to Montanas and the service was terrible. Our Server never checked to see if we needed anything in which we did (refills, cutlery) Didn’t offer to bring any desserts for the kids. Walked past us and served others , it was until I told my son to get the server to stop. I told him I spilled my drink but not once have you stopped to check in on us now can you get me a mop? He then replies sure thing. Comes back with a mop. Shouldn’t have even tipped him.

I always get the chicken waffle sandwich cuz damn it's amazing in all aspects of your tastebuds... so that being said. The food or ice cold beer did not disappoint. It was delicious!!

But service was absolutely S***... like seriously waiting 10-15 mins to get our menus.. and a few more to get drinks started. Than we just sat there while waiting for a response. .. than no one came and checked if we needed anything (which I needed napkins) and than bill time comes and I'm looking right at the guy.. waving can we get the bill.... just ignores me . Than when asked if we can have it split cuz there was 5 of us... nope all together and all beers piled together... like oh ok guy thanks for doing your job.

One of th first times I've ever not tipped a waiter/waitress...

My family goes to Montana's from time to time when we go out to eat with our daughter. She loves that she can color on the table!



We do our best to support local business as much as we can. That sometimes means sitting down for a meal despite the poor online reviews, but support can also mean sharing proven professional skills that can add value to the business.



I recently approached Montana's because our Firm identified opportunity to lower the cost of utility delivery on a number of Montana's locations, including the St. Albert location. Considering we already helped a number of its competing restaurants like Boston Pizza, Canadian Brewhouse, Moxies, Browns and others, I figured Montana's would be extremely interested. Rather, I was brushed off by Montana's Regional Manager which suggests maybe they are less interested in containing operating costs than their competition.



Not many restaurant Owners are saying no to $4-5k per year per store in savings, so if you are the Owner seeing this, you may want to contact me.

Last night I took my family out to Montanas and the service was terrible. Our Server never checked to see if we needed anything in which we did (refills, cutlery) Didn’t offer to bring any desserts for the kids. Walked past us and served others , it was until I told my son to get the server to stop. I told him I spilled my drink but not once have you stopped to check in on us now can you get me a mop? He then replies sure thing. Comes back with a mop. Shouldn’t have even tipped him.

I always get the chicken waffle sandwich cuz damn it's amazing in all aspects of your tastebuds... so that being said. The food or ice cold beer did not disappoint. It was delicious!!

But service was absolutely S***... like seriously waiting 10-15 mins to get our menus.. and a few more to get drinks started. Than we just sat there while waiting for a response. .. than no one came and checked if we needed anything (which I needed napkins) and than bill time comes and I'm looking right at the guy.. waving can we get the bill.... just ignores me . Than when asked if we can have it split cuz there was 5 of us... nope all together and all beers piled together... like oh ok guy thanks for doing your job.

One of th first times I've ever not tipped a waiter/waitress...

Horrible!!! They took forever to even asked what we wanted to drink, then the food took a crazy long time they brought the kids meals at least 7-10 mins apart from each other forgot garlic toast, beans etc but charged us full price. We will not be back!!!
