Knowing the struggles of dealing with life while trying to make the necessary changes to see improvements in health and fitness, Ryan shares his experiences with his clients to help give them that extra push an an understanding from someone who’s been there. its a very nice place, friendly staff and very affordable price... thats why i recommend it to all my friends���

Why do some people always complain about something? This is very decent gym with a cheap membership, if you are not happy to be here build you own f......gym and work out....we love this place, variety of equipment's than any other gym in town and friendly atmosphere, what more can you ask for?

This gym has a lot of flexibility with month to month memberships! I was here for a few months and the gym is really versatile and has a lady’s section that’s not too crowded. I went between 5-6pm and it is not too crowded.



In addition, this gym has great customer service. I was not aware there was a quarterly annual fee but the manager was kind enough to accommodate! Definitely recommend if you are in the region.

The past 6months at motion fitness has made my time in GP less depressing. The Price is right too and the staffs are awesome!

Love this gym, incomparable! You can fit anytime you want, it’s open 24 hours. They have package where you can bring your buddy for free. You must try.

I really like this gym! It's not overly crowded and so far all the staff are very nice and accommodating. I haven't been to the gym in quite a few years and I am glad I picked this one

Chan, Xavier and Korinna are the best! They are the nicest and coolest staff ever. I always come in with a smile because of them. ���

Out of curiosity are you planning on turning on AC this year ? Ungodly hot/stuffy in late afternoon when sun is on Westside of building.

Just gonna say this place is a 3 at best but I really don’t care bout what it looks like, smells like or how the customer service is.

They have hammer strength equipment and it’s $4.99 bi weekly.

Do more time training and less time complaining and you will see results, that should be enough.

Less than mediocre due to it being super unclean and that the staff never picks up equipment left out. It gets frustrating when you are trying to get a workout in and have to clean up several things before you even can. You can tell the staff doesn't really care, which is unfortunate because this gym has a good layout and could be great. Also the ventilation and ac is so poor in there, i have to work out in just a sports bra because i over heat and I am a super fit person so theres obviously something up with your ventilation. Pretty sad also when its more of a concern to you to body shame women for wearing sports bras in a gym than take pride in taking care of your facility. Last I checked sports bras were made to be worn in the gym and its a free country! Hope you take this review as a wake up call to get your priorities straight.

Gym is relatively clean but has a smell to it. Especially the change room.

They should have stations for cleaning bottles and paper towels. I hate having to hunt for one.

The boot room are disgusting and need a serious updating.

There seem to be more lockers for gold member then for regular members. Good luck trying to find room to change.

The setup up is good with lots of natural light.

Your fountain sink has been broken for a month. I asked the front desk if I could have a cup. He wanted to charge me 25 cents for it. Another great example of how this company is a joke and failing � #ironnation can’t come fast enough. Also anyone looking to leave make sure you give your 60 day notice. I signed mine already �

Why is there neeeever any spray bottles and cleaning rags to be found? We get it, you’re staff doesn’t want to clean, that’s clear by the shape of the change rooms and the fact that they are constantly talking on there cellphones to their friends when your standing waiting to be helped. But at least leave out the materials so we can clean up after ourselves. The staff and cleanliness of this gym are brutal.

This is the only location that has ever had a trainer come up to me and tell me I need to wear a shirt over top of my very concealing sports bra. Basically body shamed me in the middle of the gym when I wear this exact outfit at both the lloydminister and red deer locations and find nothing inappropriate about it. Not to mention I get here this afternoon for cardio and there is a fitness class being run upstairs with a trainer and one of the members is wearing a sports bra and Nike pro shorts.... nice. (My incident happened yesterday and I'd like to mention I was wearing high waisted leggings only showing the top of my ribs)

Staff are very rude. I get a strawberry banana smoothie everytime I go there. Yesterday i bought one , it was horrible there was very little ice , strawberry and banana’s in it . All I could taste was almond milk and protein powder and the smoothie was so runny. When I confronted the lady about it all she did was argued with me, So I through it out and left.

Not only has one of the hand dryers been broken for more than a month and not fixed, had to complain more than once to staff to fix the broken show head then call on top of that to customer service to complain before it was fixed. Now the second time in as many weeks no hot water again! All I want is a hot shower after I work out before work. Taking "you get what you pay for" a bit to literally Motion Fitness!!! �����

Not only did I just drive across town to this gym to be given crap service as the lady at front desk could not stop talking to other customers while she was helping me. But then I got denied a 3 day trial because my name was in their system from 3 years ago. Not only that, I didn’t even have a membership when I came 3 years ago.. I came for a few day passes. I told them the email did not say that it was only for new* members only as this was their reasoning. They proceeded to say they would honour it after I argued. But instead I grabbed my stuff and left. I’d rather go elsewhere then be in this unfriendly, uninviting atmosphere.. poor excuse of customer service. I will not be back.

Few things to say about this gym. Extremely unwelcoming atmosphere. Hot. Not clean.



Not to mention, I didn’t get the chance to bring my banking information to them before the date needed due to work, yet they continue to charge the card I used to sign up even though I never gave them the account information. 60 days notice to cancel just so they can charge you another $30+ before getting out of it.



Will be going to get a new bank card tonight and cancelling my membership. Nothing they could do to cancel over the phone, HAVE to go into the gym. Terrible customer service.

Cancelled my membership in January, haven’t been in grande prairie since January, even was out of the country for a while and still being charged. Now I put stop payment they are harassing me to pay for the past 5 months when I haven’t stepped foot in the gym. This is the second time they have done this to me, first time I got frustrated and paid the 50 bucks but I refuse to again . Also rude on the phone and email so not gonna waste anymore of my time. We will be going to a different gym when we return to grande prairie.
