I go here every year with my family and while the location is nice and the staff are friendly I find the maintenance lacking. Despite making tons of money (everything here is crazy expensive!!), everything seems to be in a need of repair. I was trapped here during the 2013 floods and while they repaired most things, there are still many things that have just remained the way the flood waters left them. There are also hot tubs here....but I've never seen them working in the 5 years I've been going here. I find the swimming pool is only working about 50% of the time as well.

It's great for families as there are several playgrounds so regardless of where you're parked, it's a short walk away. There's also kids programming and live educational presentations for kids almost nightly (except it's at 8pm when many kids are going to bed...). Additionally, with lots of kids comes lots of noise. Seems many of the parents here let their kids run wild without a concern for whether or not they're in other people's campsites. This happens often. And there's no sense in complaining to management because rules are never enforced anyway. Quiet time is 10pm and even though most people follow this guide it is typical that there's usually one or two campsites blasting loud music or loud drunks.

I've painted a pretty bad picture but it's not terrible, just far from perfect. It does have many amenities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and hot showers to name a few. Its also within cell range so you have full LTE service. To sum it up, if you're looking for a quiet relaxing vacation, maybe find something else.

The location is amazing. It's nice to have mountains surrounding you, and there was a bit of privacy with tree coverage. There were nice trails that lead to water which was also really pretty. The amphitheater was fun for my kids. I didn't realize at the time of booking that quiet time was 10pm and how strict it was. Though we obeyed the rules, I didn't feel like we could relax or enjoy ourselves too much or we might get evicted. The pool was closed and apparently has been all season. It's great for some, but it wasn't for us.

I do like this campground. It's well laid out, clean and scenic. My issue with this campground is the price and my recent introduction to the fine print on extra tents. I understand that a charge for extra accommodations can be a way to reduce the abuse of available space so that three families cant roll into a single spot without paying a premium. In my case it was me and three children. I decided to put up a tent so that two of them can have their own space. After already paying what I consider to be a high rate for a power-only camp site, the park operators were happy to drop by after the first night and collect some more money for the tent. Now I'm looking at $129.29 for two nights. To me this feels offensive, and as much as I enjoy this campsite, I likely won't return.

This is a beautiful campground with solid amenities. I dropped it one star because you can be online at 9:01am on the day reservations open and still not find a site available. They say that sliding reservations is not allowed but I don't think anyone actually watches for this practice. They also stopped offering Wi-Fi in the campers centre since last year which seems like an odd thing to do considering only a handful of people ever seemed to be on it at any given time. The playgrounds, showers and ice cream shop all make this a great family campground. The biking/walking trails that start at the campground are outstanding and usable even by young children. If you are able to find a site at this campground, you will never want to leave.

Great spot. Nice campsites with a lot of trees and decent privacy. Good trails and bike paths. Bathrooms use coins for showers so buy some upfront if you plan on using them as it can be a frustrating walk over to the building to buy them. Camp fire friendly. Has kid programs and more. Would stay again hands down. Close to Banff so easy to do their activities. Beautiful mountain view. Some power sites and potable water.

Fake advertising pool and hot tub have been toast for 4 years. Stalls are small. Great views. WAY overpriced!

I kept hearing so much from people about the great hot tub. Sadly it was broken, but you still had to pay full price for camping. Everything else was great though.

Great place to hang your hat (toque?) For the winter weekends. Ski and snowshoe and hike all day then retire to a campfire and cozy RV for the night. Repeat all winter long! Only seasonal winter camping spot I know of in K-Country that you can leave your RV at all winter. Staff is great and they aim to please. Often they've plowed the fresh snow before I'm even up on Saturday morning.
