We stayed at this amazing RV park. We are new at the rv thing. Nice clean place. Close to the number 1 highway. (Husband liked that) the weekend of country thunder and people very respectful no noisy parties like the offce nice clean very friendly staff. Very helpful. Showers clean water pressure not to great, but it is camping rite. If I wanted luxury I would have stayed in a hotel. So that not a big deal for us. Daughter newly moved to Calgary with her family, so we will be back may more times. Great place. Oh YA. Thanks for the complementary coffe the one morning.
Very friendly owners, not too expensive and very clean. We will definitely come back!
The staff is very friendly very helpful very clean washrooms.
Great place! Thank you so much for your friendliness and hospitality! Our two days here have been wonderful!
Fun and friendly family experience! Very clean bathrooms and friendly staff! Close to Calgary and area attractions! I highly recommend it!
Cara and all the staff were most helpful.Nice clean area, closeness to Calgary a bonus. Some sites are a bit tight but would stay at park if back in the area also it is just off the Trans Canada Hwy.
Very nice campground and so handy to the city. Makes a perfect “base camp” for activities in the area.
This was the best of the three R V parks on our recent July trip (2017) My husband would always like to have more trees, hence more shade and wind protection. We do note that you are trying to add trees to those who are dying. Suggest some kind of quick growing willows between every site. The ladies bathroom shower stalls were a bit hard to maintain privacy in behind the curtains while dressing--However my husband said they were fine, and generally clean. We understand some kind of renovations are planned soon. To bad some sites have had the grass killed when mats were left out to long. We were indeed reminded of the, now in effect , "no mat " policy. We can see why it happened, but wanted to cover the bare spot, and marginal vegetation in our site. Hope the grass in these areas can be restored soon. So overall ,a well run RV park. We will stay here again if in the Calgary area.
Pretty nice overall. Except for...Showers cost $1 for 5 minutes...shower only lasted 4 minutes. Sites very close together. No real mountain view.
Clean, warm bathrooms, friendly service, nicely landscaped and large, front- full service sites.
Comments:
Mini golf should be included for campers, as it is at other locations - esp for the price/night and because it's located away from the city...canteen items are over priced (with the exception of ice-cream), but lots of convenience items including dvd rentals and games - nice touch. Laundry is priced reasonably compared to competitors and is kept clean. We hoped the mountains were more viewable from the campground (given it's name), but they're not...partially due to forest fire smoke off in the distance and partially because it's located too far away from their view. The campers and staff readily walked through our campsite even while we were trying to eat dinner and underneath the tie-downs for our screen-house which they kept tripping over - signage and instruction to campers to use walk paths should be posted/implemented. The highway traffic and airport's air traffic made it less enjoyable. There aren't any place to bike or walk other than throughout the grounds. It's a good place for short stays if you're needing to have access to the city area and don't want the costs of hotels or if you're just passing through.
