Don't ever close! I still love the nostalgia of going to an actual movie store to rent a movie.

Good movie selection and great staff!

I've been going here for many years. They were always polite and tried to help as best they could.

Born and raised in the area, went to this Movie world as a kid. Took a long break while i lived in the city, when i moved back with my wife and kids i took my kids there just for nostalgias sake, it was great, movies everywhere. Nothing beats going out in the world renting a movie physically, kids picking a snack out, mom and dad finding a movie for when the kids go to bed. As for customer service, everytime i go in there now i get a friendly Hello. And if i dont i get a smile while they continue their work. They are very knowledgable as far as ive experienced as to what they have in stock and where its kept. Keep it up movie world! Stay open as long as you can, you are a gem in this small town.

MovieWorld is a place is a place I have gone to since I was a child. The staff have always been very helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. They have movies there that Netflix would never have; old and new, every genre, and even the new releases. Whenever I pass by Stony Plain I look forward to getting a movie from them, and they have excellent business considering they are the last movie store in the Edmonton area. I hope they never leave!

Worst customer service ever! I just moved to the neighbourhood and thought I'd stop in to support a local business. Not a hello or thank you and all they did was talk amongst themselves. Stood there for over 5 minutes without a word to me. Wow. Felt totally disrespected and I will never ever go back!! Save your money and order your stuff online I guess...at least you won't be treated like a bag of crap.
