The team at Mr. Rooter are professional, quick to set up an appointment. They called me 30 mins before Jeff showed up to let me know he was on the way.

On site, Jeff was courtesy, thoroughly explained what he would be doing. He gave me 3 options and discussed what was happening and adjusted as required.

Jeff made sure I was comfortable with the direction and spent time writing up his findings and what my next steps should be.

Stay away from this place. Their plumbers work on commission. I had a plumber come out to look at a clogged kitchen sink. As soon as he was in the door he told me the pipes were old and likely needed to be replaced which was interesting considering we just had a garbage disposal installed nine months prior and there was no mention of old pipes. Then he launched a twenty minute sales pitch about selling me chemical drain cleaners that “only Mr. Rooter sells” and also told me I should also get the pressure hose treatment on the drain. When I finally pushed him to just quote me on the price to auger the clog he quoted an astronomical price (we had talked to other companies about cost so had an idea but most companies couldn’t come out for at least two days). He then told me I could find a cheaper plumber but I would get ripped off and it wouldn’t even work because apparently the pipes needed replacement too. We found another REPUTABLE plum company who came out the next day. Clog fixed and all working well for a fraction of what Mr. Rooter quoted. Do your research and don’t be intimidated into spending unnecessary money. Mr.Rooter plumbers work on commission and they will use scare tactics and intimidation to make a sale.

Just had Ben T out to my house to fix/unclog our washing machine drain line (in the wall, not the floor drain) that backed up and overflowed, and he was awesome! We had another plumber come try for hours two days ago and he couldn’t figure it out or unclog it, and said he thought we would have to rip out all the concrete to get the lines replaced. Ben was super friendly, honest, knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, and really great all around. It was a really big, tough clog that took a long time to clear, but he took his time to make sure he got it all cleaned out instead of rushing the job. I am extremely happy with the service and very happy with Ben’s work and will definitely be calling and requesting him for any future plumbing needs.

I called Mr. Rooter for a second opinion on a boiler / hot water tank failure. Jeff, did a good assessment and showed me what he found to my complete satisfaction.

He offered a variety of solutions, and we had him proceed with the repair, which was completed before the day was over. It turned out that his repair was quite a bit cheaper and faster than that offered by another supplier with whom I have a loyalty program. I am done with the other supplier. Mr. Rooter will be my new 'go to' plumber!

We had a backed up kitchen sink Friday night, and called Mr. Rooter on a Saturday morning. Luckily they had an opening, and they fit us in a few hours later. They weren't on time, but early! The plumber was very kind, courteous, and explained (without any request from me) everything he was doing, and everything to expect from the process. The billing amount was explained and agreed to before the work was done, and the digital process was efficient and concise.
We were engaged in conversation throughout the process, and I was very impressed with his ability to talk and work at the same time (I've owned a construction company for 15 years and can count on one hand how many people I've hired can do both simultaneously). Before I knew it, the drain was fully cleared, the tools were being rolled up, and he was eating grandma's fresh cookies we offered him.
All in all a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be using them again for our plumbing needs.

Jason is the best plumber I've had in 25+ years. Super efficient, doesn't try to sell you on other things to be done. He was extremely thorough and very personable. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good plumber and am so glad to have found someone really reputable! We had a backup due to tree roots and he meticulously went through all the roots in several of the pipe joints

This was my first time using Mr Rooter and I definitely will again. I was very pleased with the service. Chris was very professsional and did a great job. Completely solved my problem, and didn't try to upsell me which the last plumber I used did.

I recently moved into a 1970s home with some unique diy plumbing "features." The pro who visited knew his stuff and gave extra care to the big jobs and also the little touches. He wrapped it up with a detailed tour for me at the end. Now my furnace room feels less like a foreign tanker and more like my domain. Big thanks.

I always feel confident calling these folks. I know I will get very good, reliable service AND they don't try to 'up-sell' me to death! If I need a new part, they suggest it, but NEVER demand I purchase it. I have had companies come in who deliberately sabotage my systems for new work... these guys would NEVER dream of such tactics! Good, honest, competent service!

We just had Jeff Sauermann in to fix a couple long over due toilet issues in our house. He called about 30 minutes before he arrived and when he arrived he immediately diagnosed both problems right away and provided a quote within a few minutes to which we agreed to. In addition he noticed the water pressure in our house was quite high and evaluated the problem and provided a quote for that fix to avoid potential damage to other faucets, etc. which we agreed to as well. Jeff was extremely thorough in his explanations and workmanship. He also took the time and wen't through the rest of our home and checked the other sinks, toilets, faucets, and even the connections in the laundry room and made minor repairs where required at no additional charge. This overall ended up being a little more than we had originally planned on spending but felt the additional work/fix required was well worth it. We are extremely satisfied and would not hesitate to contact Mr. Rooter again and will certainly reference them to friends or family who may benefit from their services.

I couldn't me more impressed with the customer service and work provided by Mr. Rooter. We needed our main water line replaced, which is a huge undertaking. From the moment the problem was assessed to the completion of the installation of a new line the Mr Rooter staff was knowledgeable and professional. They took all of the stress away and got the job done.

We had a minor sewer back up in our basement and called another company and were told they'd get back to us in the morning to make an appointment. I decided that I would go to Mr. Rooter instead. They had the Choice Award, I had seen them on Undercover Boss and they excellent reviews so why not. I am so glad I did.

I called Sunday night and was booked for between 8-9am. Of course being Calgary it was snowing and the morning roads were challenging. Peter arrived and was efficient and nothing but professional. He explained everything and when we discussed our hot water tank and furnace and toilets he was happy to get us quotes that were quite comparable to other providers.

We will be contacting them to replace our two toilets and our hot water tank in the very near future. The level of service and the level of confidence we were left with is value you can put a price on.

I would not hesitate recommending Mr. rooter to anyone.
