Mru X-Country Nordic Club Description
Come join the MRU X-country Nordic Club and experience one of the oldest and most exciting winter activities there is. Get active and come enjoy the exhilarating landscapes of Bragg Creek, Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise.
MRU X-country Nordic Club welcomes all new members, no experience required! Nordic ski COACH will be on site on occasional trips, guiding a teaching ski methods and techniques.
Weekly cross country trips visiting surrounding trails, educational cross country seminars, waxing tutorials, fundraising events, social parties, meet and greet gatherings, guest seminars by professional and ex professional skiers, and yearly final cross country ski trips.
Calgary is an exceptional x-country skiing region blessed with world class nordic trails. Enjoy all these trails in our own provincial backyard.
Canmore Nordic Center:
- World Class facility. Olympic designed
- More then 65km of groomed, machine-made natural trails
- 6. 5km of illuminated night skiing
- Spectacular views of Canmore, the Bow Valley and surrounding Rocky Mountains designed for all levels.

Bragg Creek:
- 50km of natural groomed trails
- 35 minutes away from Calgary's Downtown
- Trails designed for beginner, intermediate, and expert

Banff / Lake Louis:
- More then 40km in the heart of Banff National Park
- Lake Louis Trails total 70 km
-Backcountry (Light) Touring on skier-set tracks total 150 km.
