Mt. Norquay Banff

December 22nd 2017 was one of our favorite days from last season. Tt snowed 20 cms overnight and the sun was making appearances all day!

this weather's got us dreaming of turns!

my 3 girls had a day skiing lesson and the instructor was brilliant with them. not only was they skiing better they thought he was there new best friend. They smiled from ear to ear all day. Thankyou for making our trip to Banff for xmas extra special and fun for them.

What a great adventure! I did the 4hr Ridge walk with Robbie as our guide - great experience - wonderful views and fab guide! Highly recommend �

Went there for the first time. It was fantastic!! Had lots of fun!! We were able to go with all four tubes a few times. The workers were great!! Friendly and helpful!! Would recommend everyone to go!! Great place for families!! Never heard any swearing at all!! We will go back for sure!!

Went for family tubing, staff were super friendly and kept the lines moving at a good speed, stood in line just long enough to get my energy back. Had lunch at the lodge and it was excellent, far more than I expected from a cafeteria experience!

We liked the chair lift ride up and down the mountain. No crowds. Great view at the top. Saw a Mountain goat with her baby and a coyote as well.

We got married here on Saturday and had the absolutely best day! AMAZING food, staff, venue and management! Highly recommend this place for your special day!!

We did the Via Ferrata for a second time because we just liked it so much last year. This time we did the 6 hours route and it was so worth it. The ladder, the bridge, and the ridgewalking were all highlights of our trip. Our guide was also excellent. Overall, we loved the experience and we would recommand it to anybody.

This was such an awesome experience! Kevin was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and encouraging for our group. We would definitely do it again!

The best family skiing in Banff! Great runs, great staff, great food and great value! Definitely recommend Norquay to anyone with kids or looking to hit the slopes for the first time.

Our boys had their first ski / snowboard lessons today and it was wonderful! The ski instructors were knowledgeable and encouraging and so good with the boys. I can’t believe how much they learned in just one day. The set up is very convenient too- the run is close and you can watch your little ones as they learn. A great experience.

No matter where you ski there could always be more snow. Staff friendly from the parking staff to the lift operators. Food is outstanding. This hill is a hidden gem so i won't be sad if you all keep going to Sunshine or Louise and leave Norquay to us.

My son had private lesson at 1pm yesterday. The instructor was awesome my son is not the best with coordination but by the end of the 2 hrs he was on the big hill.��

My kids had weeding there. The reception & food was really great!

If you're an intermediate or above skier, this place is great. It has fewer lifts than Sunshine or Louise, but all the lifts are protected from the winds, and the Big Chair has the best skiing in the area -- soft, steep, continuous bumps the whole way down.

I lost my phone in Mt. Norquay Banff when we’re tubing last Dec.26.2017.

And with help and coordination of the staff,

I’m so thankful it was found and returned to me today even I’m hundreds of kilometres away.

Thanks to all the staff of #MtNorquay, you’re all amazing!�

I was there in the middle of the week and there was no crowd. Seemed like most people there were taking lessons. The snow was great and so were the views! If I am ever in the Banff area again in the winter, I will definitely return!

The hill is decent, but only had one good encounter with staff, the rest were pretty rude and didn't seem to happy

The chair ride up & the views at the top are fantastic! But the restaurant at the top leaves ALOT to be desired. It's not clean, service was terrible & food not good. It'd be better if it was a burger & fries joint. But clean first!

We just went for the snow tubing. It's a great concept, but very poorly run. The staff were very disorganized and unhelpful. They moved the front half of the line from place to place and then allowed the back half to go ahead. The top of hill was no better. No clear lines and nowhere stable to walk. We were also told by the staff at the top it was our responsibility to switch out out tube for a slower one even though we waiting 45 to get up there. It was extremely overpriced for what you actually get. Waited around for 3 hours just for 3 10 second rides.
