Mitch Vernaroli – The Man, the Legend! He’s a creative beast & we’re beyond thrilled to welcome him into the fold at Murrieta’s. We’re stoked to have this genuine talent as an integral partner of our team to elevate us to the forefront of our industry. As a self-proclaimed cocktail enthusiast, Mitch found his home behind the bar. After moving to Calgary from his hometown of Windsor, Ontario, Mitch played a key role in this city’s ever-evolving cocktail culture, working alongs...ide many gifted bartenders and highly regarded mentors like Jimmy Nguyen, Christina Ma and Franz Swinton. Mitch’s success comes from his respect level - for the industry. He got an early start working in hospitality, acquiring the fundamental skills to excel in a wide spectrum of roles. His wealth of knowledge and passion for the craft gave him priceless opportunities to build bar programs and exceptional teams throughout Calgary’s downtown core. He was honoured to represent Calgary at the Bombay Sapphire - Most Imaginative Bartender competition in Toronto (July 2018), finding so much inspiration in the diverse and mind-blowing talent of Canada’s top 10. Ready for a new wave of creativity behind the bar, Mitch’s cocktails will make you fall in love with something new while also paying homage to the age old classics.

Have heard about this little Gem in Calgary but had never been. It was fantastic! An awesome place to eat and have a get time. 100% recommend Murrieta’s! 😁😁

We were for a very good friend birthday celebration, and before the music group start we order a little starter that was surprisingly good for calamari, just a small plate for 2 or share with 4, flavor and texture were good.



The band was very good for my taste this band start with a bit of Blues and go thru hip hop, later 70 and 80 rock, and romantic, good ambient over all.



The servers were aceptable but need to improvise a bit more to care about the necessity of costumers drinks or so, at the time we decide to leave I being in need to find my server to pay my bill that was in my criteria not aceptable.



Over all my review from 1 to 10 doing 10 the exelente best, my was 7.
