This is my 5th year going to Music Together at the Riverbend location. I started when my daughter was 1 and she'll soon be 5. My son is 2 and the all ages class is amazing. It's one of the only classes in the city where both of my children can attend together, learn and have fun. The teachers are the best there are hands down. They actually care about your children and allow each child's personality to shine throughout the class. At the most recent class we went to I watched our teacher explain to a new mom how allowing her baby to put the instrument in her mouth stimulated a certain spot in her mouth which is connected to learning and music. What?! These teachers know what they're doing. For the next year, before my daughter ages out of the class, we will be coming frequently to music together classes. It's the perfect addition to our homeschooling curriculum. 👌
The best children’s program around... THE BEST!!!!
My kids learned a lot through making music in this class. From singing and dancing in the car and at home...to cleaning up toys or being in public. I learned I didn’t have to raise my voice, all I had to do was sing to my kids. We once started singing in the doctors’ office while we waited and the receptionist stood up and said “is that from music together?!”
The program is like no other, the instructors are fantastic...Mary Lou and Jodi are incredible. It’s an ever growing family that you will feel lucky to be a part of as the rest of us do. My kids are now 8 and 11, they still talk about this program and Jodi like it was yesterday! We love music together :)
I learned about the program through mommy connections, and am so happy my daughter and I signed up. We've been doing the program since she was 8 months old, and she is 16 months old now.
Not only is it my daughter's fave day of the week - but it's mine too. I ditch the phone and the outside world, and just spend an incredible hour full of laughter and music. Sue is an incredible teacher... thank-you guys so much!
