Musical Mamas Society

A wonderful gathering of female singer /songwriters and industry professionals who meet monthly to inspire, support, develop and expand musically.

The creation of music, enriches community connectivity, and is therapeutic for both the mind and body. Female Musicians of all levels of expertise, experience a variety obstacles that deter musical paths, decreases quality of life and prevents too much music from being created. Musical Mamas Society was founded to provide a grass roots gateway for all Musical people identifying as Women, of All Ages, styles, and level of skills to have safe, supported opportunities and secure space to perform, record, create and advance their individual musical journeys. Fortified with positive peer support and self lead learning.

Musical Mamas Society has grown significantly since the first gathering in April 2014! We have produced 32 singer songwriter support group meetings, established sponsored meeting space at Boyle Street Plaza (ECLF), grown to 48 members, and 12 stage opportunities to perform publicly including the Musical Mamas Showcase (two day) event featured at Sasquatch Gathering 2017, and established an Annual CD Compilation Project launching Musical Mamas Volume 1 November 2017 with, Volume 2 set to launch in March 2018~!

How can it get better than this? Musical Women can Lead a Musical Mamas B. E. A. T. in their community and, experience the benefits of creating Music Now is the time to Bring Everyone All Together and assist Musical Mamas Society “to Encourage, Develop and Support Women in the Creation of Music. ”
