Mutt Manners is a positive reinforcement, force free, dog training business serving the Strathmore area. I offer in-home consultations, dog walking /pee breaks, pet sitting and other occasional fun doggy get togethers!

My name is Shelby Wade. I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and am also Certified in Pet First Aid. I reside in Rockyford with my spouse Chris and our three dogs Pearl, Hank and Arrow.

Dog Walking Rates (These services are only available on Tuesdays with the possibility of weekends and holidays)

15 minute pee break $15
30 minute on-leash walk $25
60 minute on-leash walk $40
60 minute on-leash adventure walk $60 +
(Adventure walks include having the dog on a long line and allow for controlled exploring walks! )

In-Home Consultations: Consults are designed to address any challenges you are facing with your dog. They give me an opportunity to ask any questions regarding the dog /daily happenings of the dog. The remaining time is spent practicing the skills and techniques you can use for the best success towards your goals!

Rates range from $75-$100 for the first hour and $25 for each addition hour (within the same session). In-home consultation rates are subject to change at any time and without notice.

NOW OFFERING PET SITTING! Going away for the day, weekend or more? Look no further! Your pooch will stay in my home with me and my three dogs. During their stay they will be treated like family. They will get a minimum of one 30 minute walk per day. They will have ample play time with other dogs in my home (or if you so choose the dog can be separated and not interact with other dogs). I am also an advocate of interactive toys - if your dog is fed a dry kibble, all of his /her meals will be fed via an interactive toy!

EXTRAS - if you wish for your dog to undergo training during their stay you can add it on! !
30 Minute Sessions of: Basic Obedience /Nosework /Agility /Basic Manners add on $15 per day!

Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations.
Dogs must have no history of aggression.
Dogs must be comfortable resting in a kennel.

$30 per day per dog (one day equals 24 hours)
