An overdue thank you to the friendly and professional crew @ MVP hair on 1st Ave in Calgary. Lindsay’s a magician, I’ve tried numerous Shop’s in the dt area and none are quite as comfortable as this one. Whitegirlscanfade. I can honesty say I have never seen a bad cut leave the shop. Book ahead if possible, place get’s busy.

Quality work, friendly staff. Gaming and beverages appreciated. Never had a bad haircut here no matter who I see. Like the post haircut scalp massage and rinse, no little itchy hairs for rest of the day.

Been going to barber shops for years, and wasn't impressed with the quality at all. A novice 0 fade at best. Had half of my part eliminated due to the hair dresser admitting she should have communicated better.. if you are looking for a professional fades or cuts I would look else where. This location would be more on par between a First Choice Hair Cutter and Tommy Guns..

Huge fan of this place. I thought I had given up on straight asian hair years ago, but this place made me care again. They have refreshments and sports when I walk in and am greeted by the best bulldogs in the business. Make an appointment if you don't want to wait and arrive early to play with the dog.

Got a great cut at MVP. Sabeana took my general thoughts of what I wanted done and turned them into a great haircut. She trimmed my beard too, and used the straight razor which is always a nice touch. The staff were welcoming, warm, and it was a fun way to pass a half hour. Highly recommend the place if you need a cut and trim.

Great basic barber shop...friendly, comfortable, complimentary beverages, Xbox live.

Walked in an hour before close with no appointment. Lindsay and Keli made the time to fit me in between two appointments. Not only did they fix me up, they made the experience over the top. Well done ladies, you will definitely see me again. Looking forward to the next time!
