My Bakery Shop (Permanently Closed)

Very great foods like cakes cupcakes they even sell ice cream which is magnificent.

EDIT --- The owner's response once again shows a lack of professionalism or an ability to own up to her mistakes. It is defensive and dismissive, not apologetic. You made a commitment to have my cupcakes - the specific types and colours I requested - ready for a time that YOU set. YOU did not have them ready. End of the discussion. I am not in the wrong for not wanting to wait around for you to rush my cupcakes.

Very disappointed. I called earlier this week to order cupcakes for a very special event. We discussed colours, picked four types of cupcake flavours, and pick-up times. We settled on 4 pm on Friday. Fast forward to Friday, I walk in and the girl working has no idea what I'm talking about. The owner comes back and very nonchalantly tells me that she does remember our conversation but she didn't make a record of it. She said herself "this happens sometimes". No apology - nothing. She asked how many I needed, but I live in Calgary and don't have time to come back the morning of the event. The owner then chastises me and tells me she has cupcakes in the back, and between the two of them they'll do my cupcakes in twenty minutes. However, I ordered earlier in the week so that I could have exactly what I wanted. I don't want whatever she had sitting in the freezer.

Long story short, I'm very disappointed at the lack of professionalism (owners should not just forget about their clients), and that fact that she didn't even apologize for the situation. Not once.

A charming bakery with exceptionally delicious treats! The gluten free oatmeal cookie was divine.

I like cake.. And cupcakes.. And ice cream.. And cookies.. What's there not to like about it..

I was very pleased this shop could accommodate a cake for our son's birthday on short notice (5 days), however the discussion I had about what I wanted was not what was sold to me. I asked for a buttercream cake, as we don't like the taste of fondant (even though it always looks so pretty!), and we agreed on flat character faces. When I showed up to pick up the cake, it was covered in fondant and had large character figures. It was a very, very cute cake but not what I asked for. Luckily the fondant was very, very thin - that's never been the case with any fondant cake I've purchased in the past - so that was nice. However, the Oreo cake was very, very bland. Not even the kids would eat the cake and the buttercream didn't taste like buttercream to me. I don't want this to be a bad review, just honest. I thank the baker for accommodating a fast cake, it was very cute, but not what I asked for and most importantly it didn't taste good. Will be making my own from now on or purchasing elsewhere. Best of luck in the future.

amazing freshly ground flour and good crapes

They have absolutely amazing everything here! I always order a ton of lemon bars for whenever I drive into Langdon. The cupcakes are wonderful too! They grind their own flour or something and it all tastes so fresh. Seems to be pretty popular with the kids in town too.
