OOPS 😬
When Mother Nature is doin’ her thing.
It 🌧 and then you try working in your garden .
... It’s not always a good thing when you get un requested help from your 🐕 🐕 .
BUT , it’s all good if you use quality all natural products .
Honestly, I am glad to have these products on hand.
AND to know I can safely use either one on my 🐶 assistant.

Has your dog been spending a lot of time outside?
With all the dust, dirt etc, it can be tricky to keep their ears clean.
Here’s a D.I.Y. recipe to help get those ears cleaned up.
... Recipe -10 drops YL Lavender EO -5 drops YL Purification EO -2 drops YL Tea Tree EO -tiny bit less than 2 ounces Olive Oil
Combine in a 2 ounce dropper vial.
Apply 1 full dropper to a disposable cotton round & with tender love & care clean your pups ears daily or as needed.
They will ❤️ you even more for the extra care. . . . . #dog #puppy #younglivingeo #dogs_of_instagram #pet #petstagram #dogsofinstagram #ilovemydog #instagramdogs #dogstagram #dogoftheday #lovedogs #essentialoils #hound #doglover #instapuppy #instadog #dogessentials #dogcare #yleo

Sensitivities Let’s talk •••••••••Lavender•• ••••••• Did you know that Young Living’s Lavender is registered as a NHP by Health Canada.
In Aromatherapy can be used topically: • to help relieve joint or muscle pain associated with sprains, strains & rheumatoid arthritis... • or inhaled can act as a nervine and calmative which enhances relaxation • or inhaled to reduce the symptoms of cold & cough • when experiencing digestive discomfort can act as a carminative and antispasmodic • to help relieve headache
I would like to add that we use it in our home to help with relaxation for all. + we also use it for sensitivities to environmental surroundings.
This time of year we have major dust and pollen floating about in the air.
Your fur baby can also react negatively to environmental surroundings sometimes, and Lavender may help them also.
Try applying topically when needed & have diffusing in your home.
Here's our Favorite diffuser 'go-to' blend during this season:
2 drops Lavender
2 drops Peppermint
2 drops Lemon
Always start slow when introducing your fur baby to a new oil. . . . . #dog #puppy #pup #dogs_of_instagram #pet #petstagram #dogsofinstagram #ilovemydog #instagramdogs #dogstagram #dogoftheday #lovedogs #essentialoils #hound #doglover #instapuppy #instadog #dogessentials #dogcare #yleo

Whether you are glamping or camping, U and your 🐕 🐕 are going to want to have this recipe on hand.
What I love about YL oils is that they can work for all of us.
👫🐕🐕
... Just a quick spray over us and we get to enjoy the outdoors. Apply as needed!
Bug Away •Recipe 3 drops purification 3 drops Eucalyptus Radiata 2 drops peppermint 2 drops pine 1 drop lemongrass 1 tbsp witch hazel Shake well and spray
Note: as an alternative you could use water instead of witch hazel (I’ve done that), use what you have.
Also you can soak your babies collar in the recipe instead of spraying on their body if you choose. ( let the collar dry ).
AND enjoy the outdoors with your whole family !!

When the pup kisses come our way... Make sure you are as happy to get them as they are to give them.
•At any age oral hygiene is very important for our dogs.
•I choose to use Thieves & Peppermint in my recipe.
... •Thieves has Clove in it & we know that historically Clove has been used by dentists to disinfect & care tooth infections & gum disease.
•Peppermint offers that fresh cool sensation that keeps their breath fresh (definitely handy when they want to give us those kisses). 🐶🐶
Try this D.I.Y. Recipe & let me know how it turned out!
2 Tbsp coconut oil 2 Tbsp baking soda 2 drops Thieves oil 2 drops Peppermint oil
Mix & scrub away!

YOU can make their transition easier!!!
When you bring a new 🐶 into your home, help him/her with the transition to their new 🏠.
We are all so excited when we bring our new fur baby home.
... Keep in mind as excited as they may seem remember this is new territory for them.
In some cases as in a rescue situation, they may have never known this kind of life before(my Quincy is an example of that).
Try applying or diffusing “Acceptance “ to help them get comfortable in their new space.
This can be used in any potentially uncomfortable new situation.
Let’s make their first day of the rest of their life as comfortable for them as possible so they can learn, engage and shine.
Acceptance is a YL Essential Oil blend that contains Frankincense, Blue Tansy, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang as well as several other oils.
Acceptance, can encourage feelings of self worth.

Here’s a bit of 🐕 trivia for y’all!!
A 🐕 can smell about 10,000 to 100,000 x better than humans.
The part of the brain that interprets smell is also 4 x larger in dogs than in humans.
... While humans have 5 million smell detecting cells, 🐕 have more than 300 million😳
So consider what your 🐕 has around him/her.
Are there toxins like -cleansers -detergents -perfumes -candles -plug ins -synthetic scents In your home??
Take a stroll and imagine what your 🐕 can smell.
I mean wow, right?

"With pure essential oils, millions of pet owners can find successful relief for their pets where more conventional approaches have failed. The therapeutic potential for animals is enormous, and pet owners and pet health practitioners are just beginning to tap into this widely promising field. We believe the controversy relating to essential oils is due to the varying types that are on the market. Consumers have access to many options of adulterated oils with varying degrees ...of purity. In fact, most oils on the market are so impure that they can barely be used in dilution on humans without adverse reactions let alone pets of one tenth human mass. ”

Usage & Safety for DOGS
Which oils are safe to use? How much can I apply? Should I diffuse or apply topically? These are our most asked questions when it comes to using essential oils on our dogs!
Below is a quick-and-easy how-to guide for using essential oils with your dogs. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, here are a few things to keep in mind:
... * Most animals are more sensitive than humans to essential oils. * Start by diluting heavily and use in moderation. * Every animal is different, so carefully observe how each animal responds to the oils. Use common sense and good judgment as you try different methods. * Take special care to not get essential oils in an animal’s eyes. * Avoid using high-phenol oils such as Oregano and Thyme undiluted with any animal.
- - - - - - - - - - - -
Your animal’s size affects the amount of oil you should use:
* For smaller dogs, use 3–5 drops. Be sure to dilute 80–90 percent prior to application (for example, for every 1 drop of oil, use 4–5 drops of a diluting agent, such as V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex). * For larger dogs, start with 3–5 drops. Unless otherwise indicated on the product label, dilution is unnecessary.
- - - - - - - - - - - -

* Apply oils to yourself or diffuse to introduce animals to essential oils and help them get comfortable. * Wear oils around your animals, diffuse in their space, or apply to your hands and let the animal smell them. * If your animal is jittery or resistant to essential oils, try applying an oil to yourself and staying near the animal for several minutes so it can get used to the aroma.
Once they’re used to essential oils, animals can respond well to topical application. **** For dogs, paws are a great place to apply essential oils. Try rubbing oils onto your own hands and then stroking the animal’s fur. For large areas combine essential oils with V6 vegetable oil complex or water in a spray bottle for easier application.

Just a reminder to keep water available to your pooches especially when it’s hotter.
Try something ,
Put 2 bowls out , one with just water and one with peppermint oil added( do not need much).
... Depending on the size of the water container you could try just using a toothpick dipped in the peppermint and stirred into the water.
See which bowl they go to once they get used to it.
And treat them with a Ningxia iced cube or two .
They’ll thank you with kisses I’m sure 🐶🐶

SLEEPOVER!!
I have posted this before but it is fitting that I repost it at this time.
My 🐶🐶, went for a sleepover with their other 🐶 friends while I am away for a couple days.
... I made sure to have everything ready for them to help make thier adventure , fun and comfortable.
They were taking 2 of their favorite oils with them.
Copaiba , to help with their achy bodies( especially after all the fun running around).
Peace and Calming, so they can relax comfortably till I get back to pick them up.
I miss them like crazy and can’t wait to get back to give them hugs.
Have a great weekend everyone

•It’s getting to be that time of year.
+Road trips and that means travel for your 🐶.
+A tip, to help them make the trip a bit easier.
... +Rub Digize on their tummy before 🚗.
+After all there is no reason why they can’t feel motion sickness like many of us.
+We want our babies to be as comfortable as possible so they too get to enjoy the vacation.
•DiGize™ is a blend of pure tarragon, ginger, pepppermint, and other essential oils that may bring about calming feelings.
+In Aromatherapy, can be used topically or inhaled:
• As a carminative and antispasmodic for symptomatic relief of digestive discomfort
Happy travels everyone 🐕🐕
