Nakamun Ranch

Some of our older ages (Jr High & Sr High) have been out at the ranch the last couple weeks! It’s been a great time! Thanks to each and every camper who joined us. God Bless. 🙂

Horsemanship 1 is complete and we’re part way through Horsemanship 2! So far we’ve had some amazing kids join us. Providing us with all the laughter, love and insanity you can imagine. Our wonderful team of horses are just getting started!

As the camp season is about to kick off for the 2018 summer please join with us, partner up with the staff at Nakamun, Nakamun ranch and Bellevue lodge as we stand in the gap, fight the good fight, to share Jesus Christ with hundreds of kids and families this summer. You can be part of this team by lifting us up in prayer. Please pray that we be covered and protected from the enemies influences. Pray we stay physically strong and healthy as we pull long crazy hours running camps and pray our animals stay sound sane and steady. Thank you, truly we thank you for your support in this way. We can't do what we do with out you. God bless you this summer.

Still spaces open come join us for some horsemanship and a bunch of fun!

Got to take the team out yesterday afternoon. After some time spent being saddle horses it sure was nice to have them back in harness and so well behaved.
Can any of our Facebook friends remember the names of this horse duo?!

Today the wrangler staff worked some of the camp horse on cattle. We worked at softness and responsiveness to leg, seat and hand cues. We utilize cattle to help with this, when the horse has a job to move the cattle then the signals and cues from us the riders make more sense and have more meaning. The horse also learn to rate the cattle, keeping up and slowing down with the cow soft and responsive. Meet Monika
Monika comes to the Ranch bi-weekly with the Mustard Seed. When she first came she needed 2 sidewalkers, she has gained so much confidence! We are so proud of her accomplishments!!!

Jake looks ready for the warm spring and summer weather to come so we can swing this gate open and him and the rest of our herd can get out on the grass again. As we approach another summer camp season, please join with us here at the ranch and our other nakamun camps, in praying for the ministry that will take place in just a few short months. Your support in this way is felt and needed. We can't do what we do without it. So please even now, be in prayer for the wrangler st...aff, the horses, the facilities, but most important the hearts and souls of the families and campers that God will touch, and through this place, work in the lives of.
