Nami Sushi & Grill

Some really nice sushi and sashimi here. Toro sashimi is pretty good for YYC standards. Classic rolls like the Unagi or spicy tuna are quite nice. They have fresh cucumber offering a very unique crunch to them. Highly recommend their classic rolls! We also tried the Calgary Flames special roll (really nice flavor with the torched salmon) and the crispy special roll (too big and too many flavors). Price tag is pretty good as well for good quality sushi. Dining in options are good, tables are quite private and their green tea is really nice with a smokey quality to it. Overall, good service, good price and good food.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Calgary. The salmon battera and Flames roll are my favorites. I love the staff here, they are so friendly and fun.

If you're a visitor or looking for a new place to try sushi in Calgary, Nami is a great choice to visit. We dined in here by random choice and well the diners inside seemed to be enjoying their food. There is a large variety of sushi at this space, I wanted to eat them all haha. Not expensive at all either.

Nami is good, sometimes outstanding, inexpensive sushi that's dependably tasty. It's precisely the sort of place Calgary needs more of. Friendly service too.

This place is very affordable for the quality you get, hope they never raise the prices as it's my go-to for a quick, cheap and satisfying meal.

I had a lunch here couple weeks ago with my hubby and this place serves quite nice quality sushi rolls in affordable price.
Most of sushi rolls are $9.95 which is very amazing especially if you think about this place is located in just off 17th Ave.
Although this place is not as fancy as other sushi restaurants, still nice, clean and comfy to enjoy.
Rolls were plated nicely and they were very tasty and server was friendly.
We mostly ordered rolls so hard to compare other dishes, but if you are sushi roll lovers, definitely try this place!
I highly recommend you to try Calgary Flames, torch fired salmon with Katsuobushi flakes on top is just a bomb!!

The rolls are really well done. Sashimi was nice and thick too. Didn't have any of the special rolls which makes me sad. Will have to try more next time I go!

Staff are always super cheery and welcome you when you come in. My favorite sushi place, good price and fresh.
