Worst food. The quatity is less and price is too high. I ordered Chicken Lababdar, they gave me (sweet) Butter Chicken. When complained about it, they gave me the same dish adding some chilly and making it spicy. Serving staff doesn't have basic knowledge of dishes they serve.

On top of it, they have 'Worst 90's bollywood song collections', which is too bad to write about it.

Never ever going to go back.

Excellent, excellent food! Go for their lunch buffet, that way, you get to try a little bit of everything. Their food is waaay to good not to try everything!

Having eaten here many times previously, I thought let's get delivery.

Really bad decision.

For starters the food took forever to arrive and when it did it was cold.

The worst part was they messed up my order. My order: 2x butter chicken, 1/2 order tandoori chicken, 2x naan, 1x veg pakora, 4x Pepsi came to $66.68. Upon arrival the delivery driver had added 7 to the bill with tip and $1.00 transaction fee the bill came to almost $80. Live and learn.

The hidden delivery charge I overlooked...considering I was starving at the time. When I opened the order, I had a saffron rice (free with order over $50, I don't like it so that was a waste) but they left out a butter chicken. Not cool.

Upon calling they said they didn't have it on the order and promised to give me the butter chicken with my next order. Well that doesn't help me now with a hungry family.

Keep it. You just lost a customer.

Buyer Beware of terrible customer service and hidden charges. The staff answering the phone are not easy to communicate with and most likely the cause for confusion.

I invite you to post a response, so others can gain an appreciation of your incompetence and atrocious customer service.

I give honest positive reviews, in this case I had to pass the info to warn others.

Great menu. Quality food.
You'll have to be strategic as your order since entrees don't come with rice, naan, or papadums. Come with at least two hungry people and make it happen.

Many vegan options!

I have been here 5+ years back, and don't really remember the food. The reason I am leaving the review is that I was reading some of the other reviews, and more importantly, the responses, and this restaurant is screwing itself over the kind of responses it gives.
As a business, I would try to come across as dignified and well mannered, even when I am online, so that people are . Unfortunately, whoever is responding does not seem to understand this, and his/her attitude tells me that the restaurant really does not care about how to interact with people. I have seen everything from ultra-defensive to downright abusive statements in the response.
I was curious about this place, and was thinking of trying it out, but after going through these review responses, it is very clear to me that I am not going to have a good experience as a customer. No matter how good the food is, as a customer I don't think I am going to get a good overall experience.

Very disappointing meal. The butter chicken which is usually stellar tasted like cans of tomato soup were dumped into it.

The service was extremely slow

This place was excellent. Food quality and selection on the weekday buffet offer was extremely good. The owner is clearly invested and really owns their product and service. They came out numerous times to assist with any questions on the buffet items and service was top notch. The place was 3/4 full when we got there at 1 pmish with lots of happy customers. This is a high recommend and good value for the price. My hats off to the owners who clearly take pride in their business and service

Best Indian food in Calgary! Whenever I have friends in town I bring them here. I love the sharing style and delicious food. I have never had a bad experience here. The regular staff are so professional and nice to be served by. I love this restaurant.

One of my favorite indian restaurants period, not just locally. Many east Indian restaurants have one or two really good dishes. But here I have found everything to be top notch.
I have always brought my children here, the staff even made an effort to remember my name when I would frequent here more often.

I only gave one-star because I can't post this review without choosing one,. The worst service we have ever experienced in the city. We went there for dinner on Thursday night, and we were seated right away. It wasn't very busy and they had three servers working. We sat for over 20 minutes and none of them even acknowledged us. They kept walking past us without making any eye contact to serve other tables. we weren't even offered water. A table that was seated 10 minutes after us was served before us. We decided to get up and walk away. One of the servers followed us out and asked why we left and we told her that we sat for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. She said "oh It's okay now, please come in and we can serve you now". We said No thank you and left. Horrible service, Rude servers, and old/outdated restaurant.

Excellent food, great service, family-friendly, convenient location. Best Indian cuisine I've had in the city. It was so good we were craving it again the next day.

Organized a dinner for family and I would say, the best restaurant in Calgary. As you enter it gives you an elegant look. Welcomed and nicely greeted by the staff, and the owner is just too cool - Would come over and chat with you
Excellent location with mouth watering dishes.
Would highly recommend to all my friends.
