If you like chicken, let’s just say it’s the best meal you will ever have.

I approached the front door eager to to make love to my taste buds with my peri peri chicken! But to my dismay, there is a wait list. I ponder to myself if I should try another day when suddenly a whiff of the chicken flows outside. It's aroma was hypnotic and at that moment I knew I'd wait for my damn chicken. After the agonizing wait, I finally was able to take my seat. The decor felt appropriate.



I quickly gazed at the menu and knew right away what I was to order. 1/2 chicken with one side. I was encouraged by the patron who took my order to get the peri-naise which is a spiced mayo for your fries (I selected the periperi wedges). I ordered it to be cooked medium as I like to add hot peri peri sauce to meet my personal heat level demands.



I ordered a beverage so I could take part in the Coca-Cola freestyle that I've heard about. 100 different flavours at my fingertips! I'm overwhelmed by the options and as the line behind me formed, I choose Sprite Grape. I get back to my seat and take a sip. I learnt a valuable lesson as you shouldn't mess with a classic grape beverage. It was disgusting! After exhausting multiple different options I settled on Coca-Cola with cherry and vanilla.



Time suddenly stops. The food is being delivered to my table and it looks beautiful! The vapour from the hot sauce wakes my senses and I feel more alive then ever! I take off my jacket to get more comfortable. I prepare a napkin as you must always use protection when handling hot saucy chicken. As time stood still I take my first bite. Pure Bliss! I can't describe the taste other than to say if magic had a taste, this would be it! Each bite got better and better until it was no more. Sadness overwhelmed me as my meal was now complete.



The flavoured heat dancing with my tongue slowly faded away. As I drove home I feel incomplete. Emptiness would consume me until I would meet my magic chicken again.



So I went back the very next day and did it all over again....

Besides the 2 hrs wait, food was great. We enjoyed it so much but going back soon I don't know. We'll have to think twice because of that waiting time. This has been an overwhelming response to how people in Edmonton have been waiting for Nandos brand & I hope this will push Nandos to open another bigger Restuarent in the Northside Edmonton to cater for those of us who live here.

This is the first time I have ever heard of this place. I am from Saskatchewan and anytime I come back I will definitely come back. I eat chicken a lot and this chicken was awesome. And the garlic bread was amazing as well!! Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I have been to Nando’s on several occasions and have always enjoyed our experience. Staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Thank you Nando’s , we will visit as much as we can.

I thought the food was very tasty; ordered a 1/4 chicken with the rice and salad. We had to wait a while to get a table for our bigger party but it was worth it. Interesting set up for ordering but unique to the place. I'd go there again; great prices for good food :)

Friendly, accommodating, good food, good wine. Go early for larger crowds. Helpful. I'll try it again in a smaller crowd. We had 12.

Came in today for a late lunch. I knew it's going to be a gong show if we come in around noon. We got sitted right away; only waited behind one person to order. Food came in quick but was missing one appetizer, we had to ask for it. All in all the food was great and the staff are friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the selections of pop.

We were glad that Nando's was also here in edmonton AB, our first experience of Nando's was at Belfast N.I. and everything was great from the classy ambiance to their excellent chicken. Unfortunately Nando's here in edmonton was only half as good. The location was not easily accessible and their chicken seems slim. The staff however were friendly and accommodating.

Today I finally made it to nandos after a long wait. Went twice before but the wait time was so long so had to leave. I'm a big nandos fan so was really excited . But was disappointed. Ordered take out. When picking asked the girl everything was in and she said yes and I took her word. My mistake I should have personally checked. Came home the family sat down to eat and we realized we were missing an order of side. Since I have boys with hearty appetites I had to come up with some food to complement the chicken which defeats the purpose of take out. The food was good but experience was ruined - Safina

The Peri Peri Chicken was excellent, poor poor service though. Waited 45 minutes for our food, it was busy, however, NOT that busy!

I was different for Sure, But that's the Whole thing! If you like Hot I mean Hot go and try. I would add caution and not to the wind here, if you're not used to Hot Spicy go with the lemon 🍋 and herb 🌿 selection. The side spicy can add another notch of Hot, as my 2 year old daughter encountered by mistake, thinking it was dipping sauce, "Oh Boy did her Eyes Ever Light Up" lots of water and juice to extinguish. Yikes fun times!!

I love the food. It's great but this is the second time I miss an item in my to go order. Last week I ordered rice with my meal and today I ordered fries but unfortunately I couldn't find them when I came home and when I tried to call them now I couldn't reach any body because they are busy. I like nandos but I advise everyone to check their order first before you leave the restaurant

The food was ok. The good news stops here. My table was next to the kitchen and because the wait is so long to get in lots of people choose take out. This means they hover over your table and watch you eat. And most talk very loud . Once you get in ( 1 hour later) we had to wait in line to order. Food came quick but I was still in line to get my own drinks and silverware and navigate through the crowed waiting area to get anywhere. Dinner experience was fully ruined. The manager gave us a coupon and ensured us that it is not normally like this but due to the experience I am not sure I will be back

Very rude hostess. Wanted a table for 8 - others were to join us. Was told it would be an hour wait. Told her others were meeting us and that we would decide if we were willing to wait once all arrived. She would not allow us to wait inside. Took my phone number and told us she would call us when our table was ready. We went for sushi next door and she never called. 90 minutes later we walked by a 1/2 empty Nandos. Sorry, your chicken ain’t good enough to overcome your crappy hostess. We won’t ever return nor will the other 8 who were to join us!

Not good experience at all,went there Saturday night and hostess said it will be 20 min wait for 3 people ok,we been first on line to be seated another group off people came and they seated before than us I ask the hostess why they are seating and we are first here hostess said they have reservations I didn’t know that nandos does reservations I think they been friends with the hostess cause they talking so friendly way like they know each other ,we left after waiting 25 min,not going back anymore,this is how companies loses their costumer,when they don’t care about their concerns and when you address your issues and they go nowhere.

I have been here twice already and food is ok, but the system is bad. First visit, we dine in and when food was delivered to the table, it was missing one side of coleslaw and have to ask for it after waiting. Second visit was last night for takeout. We lined up for half an hour and waited for another half an hour for the food while having a red wine. We ordered the party pack and when we got home we were missing 5 Portuguese Roll and another side of large Coleslaw. Coleslaw again?!?! We live in the west end of the city and tried calling the number registered to them, no answer!
