National Bank

I'm here right now November/09/2017 at 2:13pm these guys 1st of all don't have a debit machine. Their clerks look soo frustrated. They seem to not know what their doing. Their line moves so slow even when you're the only one in it. Just not the type of experience you want to have with a bank. I haven't even got to the front desk yet anff i already know im going to have an issue with my transaction. No wonder they're rated 1.3 stars for a reason.

As you can see from the other reviews, the National Bank is one of the worst banks in Canada. The tellers are not able to do anything for the customers. I sat in the bank for 49 minutes just waiting for them to cash a check for me. It always takes at least 10-15 minutes to get an agent on the phone, and they are never able to answer my questions. I feel bad for the tellers, as they face the frustration of customers but are unable to do anything about it. If you are thinking of opening an account here, think again!

TSRs are not the only one in the room

You literally couldn't find a worse bank downtown. Charlie couldn't process a cheque under 10 minutes to save his life. If possible use the girl at the greeting counter, apparently she can do other people's job better than anyone there. A half an hour to get petty cash? Really? 40 minutes to certify a cheque? What are we in the Stone age?
Save yourself some time, avoid this bank like the plague that it is.

Branch was hard to find, or contact by phone. I needed some none-standard services and the branch found it difficult to fullfill my request. Wait time was exceedingly long.

Not had much luck with getting reliable services from these guys. Consider a different broker if you get recommended this place for a mortgage.
