Nelson Homes

We bought Nelson Home in 2017 from High River. Got ICF foundation (By Bob Borsema) and house put on the foundation. Best thing we ever did. House is well built and very efficient. We owned 2 houses before, but this one is superior. Our natural gas bills are lower. After they delivered it, it had one little hair drywall crack in corner , which I fund like couple months later, nothing else. I would (and may will) go with Nelson Again.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY . Has been a horrible experience dealing with Nelson Homes in High River . After 1 1/2 years still waiting on things to be finished . Have many many issues, they will not address .

I am extremely disappointed with Nelson. When I gave a deposit I was told the house would be built by September and was given a cost per sqft. The plans have taken 5 months and are still not completed. I was told a few weeks ago that the house would not be completed until next spring. Now they have had a huge price increase, even though the cost of materials is currently coming down. So for their delay I am now expected to pay over $30,000 more. This is simply bad business. I have talked to a manager who told me basically too bad. He was supposed to get back to me but so far hasn't. 👎🏻👎🏻

It's surprising how big these places are. These are actually full sized houses they ship right to you pre built.
