Nope, no longer a newborn photographer. The day I announced my last session, my phone beeped about 5 times. All pregnant friends, all “but you’ll shoot for my baby right!?” Well this is my second last newborn and it was everything. I love lifestyle images, the photos in between the poses. The little fingers and toes. The big sister in her new big sister role, the features he has of his parents. It’s all so cool. Light 2/2 #goldenhour What is golden hour? Technically golden hour is the hour after sunrise and before sunset, but you can achieve gorgeous low light photos as long as that sun is nice and low. Often, my clients wonder why I want to shoot so early or so late. It’s because your photos will turn into gorgeous pieces of art you’ll want to blow up and hang on your walls. You won’t have squinty faces, harsh shadows or sun spots across clothes. You’ll be left with beautifully lit photos so we can concentrate on the subjects instead of the sun ☀️ these were shot at sun RISE instead of sunset, which sometimes works out better with the little ones!! #stalbert #myfriendsmakecutekids @411amy @ Saint Albert, Alberta
