Nice hike. Follow the Little Elbow Trail (basically a dusty road) past the campsite until you come to a fork with a creek bed. Take the trail that follows the creek bed. The trail has a number of switch backs going up to a ridge with good views. It leads to the top of the creek bed where you can climb through a really cool rock feature. The hardest part is the switchbacks on the trail. Take lots of water. And enjoy the heaps of red squirrels scampering about. Me +2 others did this in about 4 hours starting at the parking lot of the campsite, up to the rock feature and back.

Fantastic hike close to the city. Going up through the river canyon is a very neat experience - just be prepared for the roughly 4 km walk to get to the trailhead.
