At Norstar Agriculture we provide services and products to farmers to help evaluate their soil needs and move forward with a solution to help each farm individually. Every farm has different needs and our goal is to make sure we can work be flexible with every farmer we meet. We travel both Saskatchewan and Alberta meeting farmers, either reviewing or setting up new soil testing. We then go through those results and decide what products will be beneficial to help them reach their end goal. The products we carry at Norstar can help with a myriad or soil issues we see here in the prairies. Problems such as pH, salinity, deficiencies and toxicity. These products include AgLime in the form of Cement Kiln Dust (CKD), gypsum, boron and a new humate product. The farmers we have worked with have seen tremendous results when following our prescription including increased yield, less weed and disease pressure, reduced fertilizer inputs and an overall increase in the quality of their grain.
