Now that things are gearing up for the last market of the year I’m looking ahead to the new year. I would like to do another round of beginner knitting classes. My question is how would you like the sessions broken up? Saturday would be in town at The Elks Hall and Weeknights would be at my house.

I’m sad to see the store front close but happy to have gained a great friend out of it. I can’t wait to see where life takes you from here. This market is getting closer and closer. I’ll be there with lots of hats for all ages, Joyce’s sweaters and cookbooks and dryer balls galore. Well worth the drive if you’re from outside of Grimshaw. Tons of vendors, it’s the biggest market in the North 🎅🎄❄️⛄️

Coffee is perking away for my last knitting class of 2018! These past four weeks have flown by teaching these amazing gals some new skills. I’m excited to say that they’ve all caught the knitting bug and now I have even more people to talk yarny things without looking crazy 😉I have truly enjoyed teaching you all and can’t wait for a new beginner class in 2019 as well as some more advanced classes. I’m beyond proud to be included in @moveupmag women in business issue this year along side some amazing women including @iamthegreengoddess the amazingly talented @talenawinters wrote a beautiful article about my business and the extremely talented @samantharosephoto took some gorgeous shots on the farm for it. It’s crazy the opportunities this business has allowed me. I never thought seven years ago when I started Northern Touches I would be in 3 stores: @autumnjadestudio @m...inthealthanddrugspeaceriver & @hippystrings that I would meet so many amazing people both online and at markets. Let alone be teaching knitting courses most weekends. My amazing customers are why I have succeeded so much. It’s a hard fought battle every day but so worth it to bring your orders to life for you. To quote Talena’s awesome article “the warmth isn’t just in the product - it’s crafted into the very stitches themselves” this wasn’t something I could put in words myself but reading her words back that has been my goal from the beginning. This business is my dream career, my passion project, my calling. I can’t describe how great it is to see it be a reality.
