Had a great time at the Taylor Swift concert. First time going to a concert at Rexall and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Called the morning of the concert to find a good location close to eat and a few other general questions. Doors opened at 6:00 and we showed up at 5:45. Already a really big line up but once the doors opened we were through in a timely manner. The ushers were so nice with showing us to our seats and the concessionaires I dealt with were all really friendly. Thanks for such a positive experience. Will be looking forward to going to another concert there.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the staff and medical staff at rexall. I took a tumble before the Hedley meet and greet. Wendy was a big help, getting me medical attention asap. I wish I got more names of the people who helped me. But thank you you were all very accommodating. Even tho I didn't follow through with the medical advice until after the show, but I can say my ankle is not broken but still in a cast and crutches. What a good memory to have of my.last rexall show haha.

When I went with my grandson to the last WWE event the only Family washrooms were blocked off. I didn't want to send a little boy into the men's alone and he refused to go into the ladies with me. When there is a family event happening maybe they should consider these things.

User

We were there from November 5, 6, & 7 for a Western Mounted Shooting event held at the Expo Center which is a good place for a shooting event, but as for the barns which our horse was stalled in was in deplorable condition from broken stalls to garbage bins full and over flowing Oh and I can't forget the hundreds and hundreds of mice that infest the long barns!! This has to be a health concern not only for the people using them but to the horses as well!! Shame on you Northlands something needs to be done!!

I've been attending annual events to Northlands stemming back from the 70's. But parking at Northland grounds suck. It really needs to impove. Shouldn't take more than 1 hour get into the parking lot from the 118th Ave. Open up some more gates and charge admission from other ends of the ground.. For the price of tickets to see an event, people should not end up belng late when they get there in advance .. Perhaps Northlands can improve entrance access for parking to the grounds

User

While the Northlands venue is nice looking and does the trick for hosting a variety of events it missed the mark tonight big time ! We went this evening to the Globetrotters and expected that we would be able to have some quick fast food dinner there - we arrived and nothing was open to eat in the main food court type area. Once inside the arena where the event was taking place they had one small concession open that was lined up the entire time because everyone was hungry.

Disappointing.

Just got back from an afternoon watching the men's world curling. Great afternoon of curling but I'm really disappointed at the gouging Northlands is doing on parking prices. We were there on weekend for the wild rose antique show and paid $16. Today, Monday afternoon, they are charging $20 for parking. Bad on you Northlands.

I've attended Union conferences at the Northlands 3 times. I've never had a single complaint. The food is great, and everyone has been friendly. Our meetings are 3 days long, and it's common for us to leave our water bottles and a few items at our tables overnight. This year, I came on day two to find my water bottle missing. It's just a water bottle, and not the end of the world. But I was disappointed in how difficult it was to find a person to talk to about it. I wandered around the whole building, constantly being redirected, only to find an information area with no staff there. So I called the lost and found person and left a clear message (during their business hours) and didn't get any response. I tried asking some of the staff that came by to tidy our tables and still it got me nowhere. I don't expect my water bottle back (even though I do miss it, it was my Oilers one), I just wanted someone to know that it had obviously been removed from my possession, and hoped at the very least for an apology. I just thought that would be good PR. And I didn't hear back from anyone. Just disappointed.

I think the music is way to loud .We have the right to enjoy our back yards . But for the ladt 10 days the base is so high the it gives the people in the home headaches and at times they even need to turn up the tv to hear it . 7 blocks away from northlands. The music start at 10 am and DOESN'T stop until 11 pm . Ever with doors and widows closed. The neighborhood is subjected to this loud music.

User

You really need to support your marketplace food kiosks better!!! There only ONE place that offers salads & they sold out on a very busy weekend & they NEVER got restocked even though they had requested for more supplies!!

Come on!!! Think about numbers better

Worst parking ever!!! Been sitting in the same spot waiting to leave for over an HOUR now not impressed most bullshit thing ever we live out of town and rather then being home around 1230-1 we are now looking at getting home at 2 or 3 am this is bullshit and you need to smarten up your parking lots. Over an hour and we haven’t even moved an inch!

User

We paid $110 to put our vehicles in world of wheels, then parked in exhibitor parking Friday, Saturday and then Sunday we need a parking pass?! Apparently someone wasn't doing thier job? So we had to turn around and go back the other way where it says exhibitors entrance on 79th street. No one told us about a pass. And you guys are all about security but I managed to get in a door without any security stopping me without getting my ticket punched.

User

So many people missed lots of the first performance of cfr. The line to pick up the already paid for tickets through ticketmaster was so Long...and moving so slow. When I finally got to the front, over 1.5 hours waiting I asked why they were just printing my tickets, I was told they didn't want to pre print them???? Why??? It was sad to see so many people that paid and where going to be so late for the show, or not see it at all because of the poor service.

User

Me and my fiance went and saw Queen the other day, and were told to sit down by people around us.... Not only that, after a beer was thrown at us and 2 other girls for standing.. security came over and told us to sit down.

The 2 girls told them what had just happened, me and my fiance included, and moved the girls to new spots and left us standing there to go back to our seats.

Over all, it was the worst time i have ever had at any northlands event, and would like to know is northlands would ever cpmpinsate people for stuff like this?

Its a concert..... I didnt know i wasn't aloud to stand.....

User

I went to the justin bieber concert tonight. My sister and I waited for my boyfriend to pick us up once it was over. The police wouldn't let the vehicles through for over 25 minutes, just the pedestrians were let through. Within this time waiting my sister and I got jumped with all our merchandise being taken that was bought from the concert. If they would have let a few cars through then pedestrians then cars.. so on. We wouldn't have to wait so long on 118th and we probably wouldn't have got jumped.

User

Bought tickets online for Edmonton expo and ended up waiting in line to get in while people purchasing on site at the box office didn't need to wait in line. There were more box office booths than lines ticket holders. Basically punished you for being prudent and buying ahead of time. We were also told to squish closer together in the limited space if there lineup to make more room for people. Employees walking the hallways shouting at people to not stand in the hallways. I don't think I'll bother going to the expo again. You basically pay for a ticket to go look at same things at every booth. Everything is overpriced and can be had online and elsewhere much cheaper. The art is cool but almost every artist is drawing the same things; whatever is big in pop culture (overwatch was the big one this year).

User

Attended The Wiggles concert today and was charged $20 for parking. Those attending events at the expo center were only charged $16 (still a ridiculous price) to park in the same lot. Good job of taking advantage of young families Northlands.

User

At colors right now.... this is the worst service I have had in history. Our first drink took about twenty minutes.... the food was horrible. We sent one order back and ordered something else..... they never did bring the second order. My second beer took four people and over half an hour. This place blows huge! Races are fun though.... and just for the record not just out table not just another or another two.... almost every single table here complained. Thisbplace should be ashamed of itself.... the employees some are rude as hell too. Did talk to some people and they said it never used to be like this..... its the worst I have ever experienced.

Attended The Wiggles concert today and was charged $20 for parking. Those attending events at the expo center were only charged $16 (still a ridiculous price) to park in the same lot. Good job of taking advantage of young families Northlands.
