I just purchased a brand new 2018 Santa Fe yesterday from Northstar Hyundai. My salesman, Adam Seif El Nasr, was nothing short of fantastic. He took my budget, lengthy list of vehicle specifications, and requests in mind when finding me my perfect vehicle. He wasn't pushy or constantly messaging me to buy, and I really appreciated that. He went out of his way to get me the extra's I required, and got me into a great vehicle. Trevor in the finance department was also great, and made the purchasing & trade aspect go over smoothly. I bought a new (to me) vehicle from Northstar Hyundai and I love it! I am from Whitehorse Yukon and was trying to find a new vehicle via the internet. I was able to have my parents visit the dealership in Edmonton and the sales representative Ayesha Khan was incredibly helpful. She gave my parents a tour of the vehicle and was able to speak with me over the phone once they had test driven it. When I flew down to Edmonton to pick up the vehicle Ayesha was at the airport to pick me up and shuttle me right to the dealership. Once we got there she gave us a tour of the vehicle. The paperwork took minimal time and then we were all set to drive away. Ayesha even hooked up my license plate for me while I was completing the required paperwork! I am very happy with my choice of vehicle and dealership. Ayesha made the process of buying a new vehicle online stress free and enjoyable. I would recommend this dealership, especially Ayesha, to anyone!

I Bought my 2011 accent at Northstar and had a great experience. Matt was my salesperson, and he was fast and efficient and got me everything I needed. Caitlin from sales did everything she could do to help us make a decision and then followed through once the sale was complete. Ever since I bought my 2011 Tucson limited edition from northstar, I was very happy with the deal I got. So in 2013, I traded up to Santa Fe Se and continue to get great service from them. Love the fact that I felt at home and the staff was very courteous and knows me well there. I've got many of my friends and family members to buy from them. Recently, my Santa Fe was involved in an accident. I didn't even bother going anywhere else but back to northstar to get my 2017 Tucson. I am happy with my purchase price with all the protection plans and free oil changes. I traded in my Tiburon for a Tucson. I had great help and service from Ayesha who then directed me to Stacy in finance. Stacy and Ayesha were both fantastic and were nothing but friendly. The only reason I'm not giving 5/5 stars is because I wasn't impressed with the manager. He sent Ayesha back to us with an amount that was literally $100 shy of what we were asking for. $100 at a car dealership. So that was really offensive, but in the end, he gave in (should've done so earlier, then this would've been a 5 star rating) and Ayesha and Stacy's services definitely made up for it. Based on my experience here so far, it's definitely thanks to the staff (not management) that make this a good place to go to.

Honestly. My salesman and the sales manager for used vehicles were great. Dealing with finance was a pretty routine and fairly quick procedure as well. However, I'm not overly impressed in the PDI of my vehicle. The remote start that's included in the package for the vehicle does not work properly. There was plastic still left on the belt latches as well as elastics. From the detailing, the inside windows are greasy, and it doesn't seem like they paid attention to the detail. Iv worked in service before, and I know how busy it can get and how maticulous some customers are, so I tried not to be picky. A first world problem, I can wipe my own windows. But I feel like, if you're paying for the vehicle. They had ample time from

Booking the appointment to delivery. That they could of atleast taken the garbage out. However, all of that being said. I chose north star because of their service department. I knew I wanted another Hyundai. That part was easy, but any time Iv dealt with their service department I leave smiling and feel taken care of. The delivery in regards to detailing was a flop. But everything else about this delarship is why I keep coming back.

This place has one specfic terrible salesman who need to take courses in customer service. Condescending and sarcastic. My boyfriend has purchased two vehicles from Northstar Hyundai and still got treated as if HE did something wrong. Will never buy another vehicle EVER AGAIN from here. Friends have also purchased vehicles from here and after our experience with after sales service they too will no longer support this dealership. Do yourselves a favour everyone... if you'd like a used vehicle go to the actual dealership of the type of car you want. Warranties and service will be better than this joke of a company. I went in for an oil change a few weeks ago before I drove down to Lethbridge to see my family. Less than a week after my oil change my car died on the side of the road halfway between Edmonton and Lethbridge. After checking my oil and realizing there was none even registering on my dipstick, I called my dealership (Northstar Hyundai). After an hour and forty five minutes of phone calls back and forth, the dealership finally agreed to take tentative responsibility for the incident. After being convinced to leave my car parked at a gas station beside where my car died and dealing with several days of issues resulting from the the oil change done at this dealership I finally made it back to Edmonton and picked up my car. The dealership gave it back to me after doing some extremely small repairs and gave it their seal of approval for being fully repaired. I requested a secondary inspection from a shop that specializes in engine rebuilds. It took them less then a half hour to see that my engine had undergone permanent damage. I took the pieces of my oil filter that were FILLED with metal shards to the service manager at the dealership. I am disgusted at the lack of customer care at this dealership.

I went for my free oil change yesterday. Darren informed me the mechanic said I needed over $600.00 worth of work done on my Santa Fe. Which I found odd as I had done over $1000 dollars worth of work the last maintenance check I had. When Darren actually looked into my file he found most of had actually already been done. He said a apprentice mechanic only looked at my milege and not my history. I left upset. He texted me today to find out if I was happy. I replied with this concern and heard nothing back. I almost got scammed our of $600 has I not said all my history was with them. No one bothered to check,

I took my SUV there for an oil change and to have my winter tires swapped to summer tires. When I got my car back, the entire top of my engine was covered in oil. My dashboard light that indicates to change the oil was never reset and my tires were never marked what side they were on so now when I go to put them on next year, they will probably wear uneven. I had also asked to have my wheel bearing looked at and that was never done. The service advisors were clueless. Definitely won't be bringing my vehicle back here.

My boyfriend has purchased two vehicles from Northstar Hyundai and still got treated as if HE did something wrong. Will never buy another vehicle EVER AGAIN from here. Friends have also purchased vehicles from here and after our experience with after sales service they too will no longer support this dealership. Do yourselves a favour everyone... if you'd like a used vehicle go to the actual dealership of the type of car you want. Warranties and service will be better than this joke of a company. To top it off, the salesman sent a flyer in the mail about sales coming up. Uhhh... no thanks! Have a great day! (Insert sarcasm)

I went in for an oil change a few weeks ago before I drove down to Lethbridge to see my family. Less than a week after my oil change my car died on the side of the road halfway between Edmonton and Lethbridge. After checking my oil and realizing there was none even registering on my dipstick, I called my dealership (Northstar Hyundai). After an hour and forty five minutes of phone calls back and forth, the dealership finally agreed to take tentative responsibility for the incident. After being convinced to leave my car parked at a gas station beside where my car died and dealing with several days of issues resulting from the the oil change done at this dealership I finally made it back to Edmonton and picked up my car. The dealership gave it back to me after doing some extremely small repairs and gave it their seal of approval for being fully repaired. I requested a secondary inspection from a shop that specializes in engine rebuilds. It took them less then a half hour to see that my engine had undergone permanent damage. I took the pieces of my oil filter that were FILLED with metal shards to the service manager at the dealership. I am disgusted at the lack of customer care at this dealership.

I went for my free oil change yesterday. Darren informed me the mechanic said I needed over $600.00 worth of work done on my Santa Fe. Which I found odd as I had done over $1000 dollars worth of work the last maintenance check I had. When Darren actually looked into my file he found most of had actually already been done. He said a apprentice mechanic only looked at my milege and not my history. I left upset. He texted me today to find out if I was happy. I replied with this concern and heard nothing back. I almost got scammed our of $600 has I not said all my history was with them. No one bothered to check,

I took my SUV there for an oil change and to have my winter tires swapped to summer tires. When I got my car back, the entire top of my engine was covered in oil. My dashboard light that indicates to change the oil was never reset and my tires were never marked what side they were on so now when I go to put them on next year, they will probably wear uneven. I had also asked to have my wheel bearing looked at and that was never done. The service advisors were clueless. Definitely won't be bringing my vehicle back here.
