I am Tina R. Parsons, Psychologist and owner of Nurtured Learning. I nurture children, young adults and parents to learn mindfulness methods to move through challenges with me and then on their own after our work together is complete.

I believe therapy should have a clear beginning and end, so, whatever you are facing, we will work to reach the change you are seeking within a set timeline.

With certifications in fitness and yoga instruction, I emphasize the mind /body connection for overall well-being and life balance.

Credentials:
I have worked as a Psychologist in the province of Alberta for over 17 years in a variety of settings including: the non-profit sector; Calgary Board of Education; Specialized School settings; Alberta Health Services; and the University of Calgary.

I am a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA) and I am registered as a Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

In addition to my private practice, my contributions include:
· Sessional instructor with the University of Calgary
· Graduate level courses to students completing their Masters degrees in Educational Psychology
· Training Family Physicians in how to identify, assess, and treat mental health concerns in children and adolescents.
