Ohana Community Cafe Description
Ohana Cafe provides a sanctuary for youth (junior & senior high school) as well as anyone in the community, during after school hours. We provide a safe, social envrironment, where all are welcome & encouraged respectfully share with one another.
We are a non-profit cafe that provides specialty coffees & teas as well as homemade soups & baking.

Had a wonderful evening catering a private dinner tonight. Great food, conversation, stories, and encouragement, topped off with a generous donation for Ohana Cafe. A wonderful evening. Thank you Jesus, you always come through!
So today we began to fill and organize our new freezer... YAY ! It is SOOO AWESOME. Takes up very little space, and has adjustable shelves to fit our needs. Best of all, got it for an amazing price second hand with some equipment money that was donated to us... God Is Good. :) :) :)

It was pizza day at Ohana today... every slot in every oven. 144 servings of Scrumptious homemade pizza.....
It's Garage Dogs this Thursday June 7th.... Whoot Whoot ! We will be handing out free chicken hot dogs and chips in the parking lot from 11:30 to 12:30 ( assuming the hot sogs last that long) at Ohana Community Cafe... Don't miss it ☺😊😁

HOW TO MAKE STUDENTS HAPPY... Step one bake giant chocolate chip cookie, step two cut cookie, step three drizzle with chocolate and Carmel sauce, step four sprinkle with sprinkles, And enjoy!!!

Had about 325 guests for Shrove Tuesday free pancake lunch today... A great day, lots of fun, and about 700 pancakes flipped... :) Thank you to the wonderful volunteer helpers who made it possible... :)

Monday Soup and garlic toast Tuesay is Shrove Tuesday... free pancakes and syrup from 11:30 to 12:30.... :) Wednesday is pizza day... Thursday no classes, no regular lunch service.

Hey there everyone! Ohana is still open this week and next even with exam break. So if you need a place to chill with a coffee and a muffin while you study, we are here from 9 to 2 Monday to Thursday the next two weeks... Jan 22 to 25 and Jan 29 to Feb 1. We will also serve soup, sandwiches, and other menu items to order if you drop by for lunch.... see you soon!

We had one of the Henry Wisewood classes over Friday for a class project. We made ginger bread cookies. So much fun. The students did an excellent job. We will have very creative Christmas Cookies made with love for next week at the Cafe.
Had to whip up a whole bunch of ginger bread dough for a group of students coming tomorrow to do a class project... Cooking lesson #1.... don't go fast and add flour slowly.. lol :)
