We absolutely LOVE Ohana donuts!! I even took some to work for National Donut Day and everyone that tried one said they were amazing! Definitely worth the price and the potential wait for these incredible freshly made donuts!!!!!

User

Was surprised at the simplicity of the menu and new brick and mortar space, but IT WORKS! That wasn't just a cinnammon sugar sugar donut with coconut cream, that was the lightest, fluffiest, richest donut in town. Love the cleanliness and friendly vibes of the shop. Friends, go support this business. You will not regret it. Good coffee too!

User

This donut was stellar. The dough was the perfect density. The coconut cream was light and perfectly flavoured. The Macadamia Macchiato (Mac Mac) is not only fun to say but also a really good coffee. Basically everyone needs to visit this place because your life will be bettered by it.

User

The donuts are so fluffy with the right chew, not to mention you can customise your donut topping and filling and they are made to order!

The macadamia machiatto is also so aromatic and smooth.

User

My husband and I came in today for the first time. I have been wanting to pop in next time we were in the city. No disappointment hear. Super friendly and helpful on how you create your doughnut. We had one each and shared another! Thanks again!!

My fiance just came home and surprised me with a bag of Ohana's new gluten free donuts and I'm pretty sure I saw heaven.

When he got home, he told me he had a gluten free treat and to close my eyes. So I did, and when he came closer I was hit with a familiar smell that reminded me of a carnival. First thought that came to mind was "I cant have anything from a carnival!" (being that I have celiac disease). BUT THEN I opened my eyes to a glorious bag of freshly made gluten free donut holes, and DAMN they were absolutely amazing. It has been one of the first time since my celiac diagnosis that I felt like I was tasting something just as amazing as everyone else.

Another awesome thing to note is the owner reassured my fiance that they use a dedicated gluten free fryer, clean the entire cooking area before prepping the donuts, and all gluten free donuts holes are made to order. Could it get any better?

User

Loved the gluten free donut holes. They were legit amazing! My only suggestion for these bad boys would to be add some chopped fruit like apples etc. :)

User

Love the donuts and coffee and really like the new storefront - a great spot to hang out while I enjoy my donut (or two!).

User

Just had my first Ohana donut...words cannot describe my experience, but I will try.

My first bite into the coconut filled, vanilla dipped, fluffy goodness sent my head spinning. I had never tasted something so satisfying in my life. I kept eating bite after bite and was launched into a state of euphoria. I couldn't believe it was real life. For a brief moment, everything was okay in the world. No stress, no suffering, just me and my donut.

My wife asked me how it was, but I ignored her. I couldn't risk losing focus on the flavours for one second. I tried to turn off all my senses except for taste as I wanted to maximize my experience. I closed my eyes. I considered plugging my ears but my fingers were covered in coconut cream deliciousness.

As the last bite melted away in my mouth I came back to earth, wondering what just happened. It was the best thing I had ever tasted.

I have asked my wife if we could name our firstborn Ohana, she said no, understandably. But all I can say is damn, what a donut.

User

I was skeptical when I saw the limited flavour options but I was quickly reminded that quality beats quantity every time. The donuts are sheer perfection. I have revisited, I think, 5 times in the last two weeks and I will go again...and again...and again!!! The hours are GREAT! don’t have to plan my day around making it in time for donuts - the donuts are there when I want them...which is often!!

User

I had homemade donuts growing up and these were just as tasty, if not more, because of the choices. This review is coming from someone very fussy and I was impressed. :)

User

Donuts are delicious, and the atmosphere and decoration are both great. I was served by Alex, and he was very friendly and polite. The service was quick as well! I will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone.

User

Currently chowing down on a Dr. Pepper donut and it is the best donut I have ever eaten!

User

This is my second review, you can see my first below. I upped my review to 4 stars because they were super quick to positively respond to my first review and they have so much potential! I've gotten donuts there 3 times since and for 2 out of the 3 I asked them to fry them fresh and they were great. The once I didn't ask I got donuts that weren't fresh. I still think the vanilla glaze is too grainy but it tastes amazing. They're on they're way to being an incredible donut spot if they keep up the great customer service and improvements with their products.

Review #1

I woke up early this morning to grab some donuts before my first meeting. When I got them they were lukewarm and the vanilla glaze was thick and grainy. So, I complained and asked for fresh ones. I got 4 new ones that were identical. I asked if they were fried fresh and I was told no they were kept warm in the proofer and that no one else ever complains. I've been here multiple times before and ordered the donuts on Skip the Dishes and they have always been fried fresh with a thin silky smooth glaze. So disappointed. If I wanted a generic donut I wouldn't drive across town and pay $2.75/donut.

User

The doughnuts are good, but not as fabulous as I expected. Not sure I would go again.

Coconut filling is to die for.

User

Me and my BF tried this yesterday (he had one previously at his work, but it wasn't as good as what we had there)

I'll level with you, the price is a bit much, the store "front" is a bit hidden* and I still have a favorite donut place that I prefer**.... that being said, this is in my own town and is a nice once in a while treat, and you're in part paying for the quality/experience, I can say aside from mini donuts, I've never had a donut that was still warm. As well I liked the page because looking at there board of "coming soon" flavours there's a few I'd really like to try ;) (mmmmm cinnamon bun.... I hope there's a special cream cheese style filling)

*Gateway Boulevard go to Mc D's parking lot and cross the back Alley.

**My favorite donut place is over a hour out of the city.... and most folks know which one I'm talking about :3

User

I'm not a donut person but their donuts are incredible! I wanted to give a 1 star review because the cravings I have for these donuts are sabotaging my diet but that wouldn't be fair. I took 1 star off because I didn't find the staff to be very friendly.

User

The donuts are good. Seems better suited to a food truck than a restaurant though. I waited for my one donut to go while a single person hand dipped 24 donuts yesterday. I was given some coupons for a free donut, IF I buy a 4.75 latte so not actually a true consolation. I went again today to grab treats for coworkers and it was so slow - again the two customers in front of me each ordering a dozen and just one person slowly dipping donuts at a time! I ended up having to leave. It doesn't seem the set up can accommodate large to-go orders well and both times there were a lot of people standing around waiting. Not when you expect when you go to grab donuts, esp with other great options in the city. Too bad :/

User

Went and picked up some donuts today. There wasn’t a line up, so we didn’t had to wait too long. However, when we got home we noticed that two of the donuts had no filling even though we ordered all donuts with fillings. For the price I expected more.

*Gateway Boulevard go to Mc D's parking lot and cross the back Alley.

**My favorite donut place is over a hour out of the city.... and most folks know which one I'm talking about :3

I'm not a donut person but their donuts are incredible! I wanted to give a 1 star review because the cravings I have for these donuts are sabotaging my diet but that wouldn't be fair. I took 1 star off because I didn't find the staff to be very friendly.

Too bad :/

Went and picked up some donuts today. There wasn’t a line up, so we didn’t had to wait too long. However, when we got home we noticed that two of the donuts had no filling even though we ordered all donuts with fillings. For the price I expected more.
