Okotoks Lions Campground

Local campground in the town of Okotoks, Alberta. Well kept and close to sheep River.

Great stop. Nice park, easy in and out. Nice walking trail along the river with deer along the path.

Heard nothing but bad things! Treated my friends terribly. DON'T STAY HERE!

The guy who backed me into my spot was the only good thing about the place. My fire pit was not even 3feet from my neighbour's truck. Having a guest was a hassle. $2 pet fee is a joke when the site is allready $42 after tax. And an Early 12:00 checkout time was very inconvenient. The visitor parking lot was packed and wasnt aloud a second vehicle on my site. Never going back. Mclean creek campground or gooseberry campground are both alot cheaper and 100x better only 30 minutes away
I Allmost forgot your not aloud to hang dry clothes or put any carpets down. Office staff seemed extreemly bitter no matter what id say or ask.

Wonderful campground! Nice creek that is shallow and slow enough moving for kids to play in! Workers were excellent to talk to and very helpful and they even came around in the morning to clean out our fire pit! We will be back again!

I have not stayed here myself but live in the area and have had family stay there. Well run and clean with shops and restaraunts nearby. Real pretty with the Sheep river running by.

Kinda crummy. It seems to flood every 5 years or so and needs to be completely rebuilt and each time it doesn't get any better.

This was the worst place possible not only are you crammed into your spot like sardines but the main road is right there and the noise is absolutely incredible. The water made me sick for 4 days and the train that goes through town sounds like it's going through your wall never ever ever go there

We love this place, have stayed here at least 3-4 times over the past 2 years. The staff are friendly to us, maybe if people treated them friendly, they do have a tough job with the potential for a lot of jerks getting on there nerves everyday. Customer service is a HARD JOB. We do our best to be pleasant to them and abide by the rules and do not have an issue with them. Lovely location and campground in my opinion. Every place has rules and everyone has a different experience, this was ours and we will go back again. These people do take pride in there work.
