Welcome to the Olds College Botanic Gardens and Treatment Wetlands – one of Alberta’s best kept gardening secrets! Located on the grounds of Olds College, the gardens are comprised of three phases spread over 30 acres and are populated with a wide ranging collection of prairie hardy plant material, both native and ornamental. The most established parts of the garden were opened in 2002, while the newest
area – the constructed Treatment Wetlands – is open to the public as of the spring of 2013, providing a state of the art outdoor lab and research facility to meet the needs of our industry partners.
