90 90 Hip Range of Motion (ROM): gaining strength and mobility (control over range of motion) in active ROM.
Start seated, get hips, knees and ankles bent to 90 degrees then flex rear toes up and without leaning forward pick that back foot off the floor, point toes and then without leaning pick knee off the floor. Alternate twice between the two and really squeeze that hip into the end of range of motion!

LSD (Long Slow Distance) training is part of a polarized training program. Physiological adaptations are largely structural in the cardiovascular system, essentially building a foundation of blood vessels and blood volume to efficiently deliver energy and nutrients to working tissues. Unilateral stability and power! SO insanely key for injury prevention. KEYS: ✅ stacked hip, knee and ankle ✅ full hip extension ✅ core and torso unified ✅ hip dominant take off and landing position (to avoid loading knee joint as much). This is a much later progression once some unilateral groundwork has been mastered. The stronger you are in a lateral plane of motion (ie. when those hips sink to the side or knees head in towards one anoth...er) the better off you are for handling suddenly less than ideal situations in sport and life. You can catch yourself better in a ski crash, have nice stacked knee structures in a tennis or soccer match, climbing Dino is ideally explosive... the list goes on!
