As a nightclub it has a fantastic energy and has always set the standard for first class live local entertainment in Edmonton. As a performer on the OTR stage, have always been looked after by great staff. Food is great and service is very professional. Brunch, lunch, dinner never disappoints. A beloved venue in downtown YEG! <3

Not to mention the drinks are delightful. The vibe is welcoming and energetic. If you go alone, guaranteed you’ll meet a cool cat or two. By far one of my favourite places in Edmonton to mingle, dance, sing and enjoy myself. Highly recommended!

I have been there twice & both times the food was enjoyable! The 1st time our server was ok but the 2nd time our server “Rocked” - she was efficient & very pleasant!!!! We would definitely go back & recommend it to others �

We went there last night for my female friends birthday. It was Crab boil night. It took almost 2 hours to get our food. Very disappointed in the food. Was supposed to be Alaskan king crab..there was no way that it was Alaskan king crab. Definitely not worth the price! Service was not too bad, being that I was in service industry for many years. Should have at another waitress working on the floor! But not a bad evening. Even tho my friends birthday present went missing from the table!!

Service was horrible. I watched the ice melt in my water at the bar. Never did receive it. Steak was under cooked. Server never checked in with us. 2:30 in the afternoon and dead. Maybe 6 people sitting at the bar and 2 others in a booth. Very, very disappointing.

I wore fishnets shorts and a crop top for a show I was going to at union I look great and I got there to meet the bouncer who told me the literal words "you look ridiculous" and I'm against their dress code. Okay a) apparently their dress code is jeans. Fine. But I look ridiculous? Thanks guys. It's okay I never had amazing service there anyways. They're usually slow. The food is mediocre. Wasn't my favourite place but I went for the convenience or to go with friends but I won't be going there anymore.

Thursday night salsa at OTR is the best. The staff are great, the food delicious, and it’s always a good night.

This is the place to be such a age range, it's always popping with live bands then between sets the DJ never fails! The bartenders, security, and everyone working there make this bar my #1 place and you should make it your #1 as well, weather alone or with a group it's safe it's zesty and it's the staff and the amazing guest's we who make OTR like no other. It's been my place to go for years and still hasn't failed me. Thank you to all the OTR staff who make my weekends just that much better and a place worth scheduling around my work. Oh and happy 12th anniversary cheers to another 12!

Since 2008 I’ve been coming to OTR.

As a nightclub it has a fantastic energy and has always set the standard for first class live local entertainment in Edmonton. As a performer on the OTR stage, have always been looked after by great staff. Food is great and service is very professional. Brunch, lunch, dinner never disappoints. A beloved venue in downtown YEG! <3

Service is top notch. Friendly staff, great food and live music! Had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, safe place to have a night out.

One of my favorite bars in Edmonton. Great food, great drinks, great friendly staff. On top of this they treat the bands they bring in fantastically. It's great to have a good, friendly bar that also has regular live entertainment, and also treats the entertainers well.

I was there last Friday, the band was awesome, the bar was full ,but service was quick! The atmosphere was fantastic and they have super delicious wings, amoung the best in town! Oh and I got to hang out and have a drink with former UFC Bantamweight champ and future Hall of famer Dominic Cruz!! Did you know he was there On The Rocks...!? A truly awesome and fun night of dancing and partying!!!

I love this bar. The food is spectacular, great live music and always a lot of fun.

Have been both a patron at OTR and had the pleasure of playing on stage in various bands over the years - most recently with Achilles Last Stand. There's no better place for live entertainment in the city - they have awesome sound, excellent, friendly, fun staff and a fantastic vibe. If you've never been, you're missing out!

The staff are tremendous, kind and accommodating. The bands and musical performers that grace the stage are so talented and keep the dance floor pumping each and every time.



Not to mention the drinks are delightful. The vibe is welcoming and energetic. If you go alone, guaranteed you’ll meet a cool cat or two. By far one of my favourite places in Edmonton to mingle, dance, sing and enjoy myself. Highly recommended!

I have been there twice & both times the food was enjoyable! The 1st time our server was ok but the 2nd time our server “Rocked” - she was efficient & very pleasant!!!! We would definitely go back & recommend it to others �

Great service and awesome live bands! Everlong last night was so awesome, and the band walked around the crowd at one point while performing!

Food was great first few times but the last two times we went not so great because our nachos didn’t have really any cheese on the then one side had a big lump on it the servers are always great but the last time we went she looked annoyed and not very pleasant at all but I would go back food is usually really great

We went there last night for my female friends birthday. It was Crab boil night. It took almost 2 hours to get our food. Very disappointed in the food. Was supposed to be Alaskan king crab..there was no way that it was Alaskan king crab. Definitely not worth the price! Service was not too bad, being that I was in service industry for many years. Should have at another waitress working on the floor! But not a bad evening. Even tho my friends birthday present went missing from the table!!

Service was horrible. I watched the ice melt in my water at the bar. Never did receive it. Steak was under cooked. Server never checked in with us. 2:30 in the afternoon and dead. Maybe 6 people sitting at the bar and 2 others in a booth. Very, very disappointing.

I wore fishnets shorts and a crop top for a show I was going to at union I look great and I got there to meet the bouncer who told me the literal words "you look ridiculous" and I'm against their dress code. Okay a) apparently their dress code is jeans. Fine. But I look ridiculous? Thanks guys. It's okay I never had amazing service there anyways. They're usually slow. The food is mediocre. Wasn't my favourite place but I went for the convenience or to go with friends but I won't be going there anymore.

Yes! If you're a fan of chicken wings. I highly recommend that you try out the very tasty and delicious flavored chicken wings at On The Rocks (O.T.R.). My 2 favorite flavors being honey garlic and sriracha barbecue! Mmmm... Especially, on Wednesday nights when it's free until 8:00 p.m. O.T.R. is definitely my favorite bar & lounge for the best chicken wings in town! Also, the staff are very nice and friendly with really good service! � �🖒

We come here every Tuesday after work for 2$ taco Tuesday!!! So good!! Love that you can order individual different ones, get to pick soft or hard shells, gets bonus sauces on the side and they have the awesome-st feature tacos! Also love watching Oiler games here. Staff are always nice and it feels like a home base. Keep being fantastic! �� Go Oilers Go!
