Mental illness affects how you think about yourself, relate to others, and interact with the world around you. We believe that community support guided by individuals with lived experience is essential for wellness and recovery and that creativity and self-expression develop self-awareness and builds esteem. The Organization for Bipolar Affective Disorders (OBAD) is a non-profit organization promoting mental wellness through peer support, community education and creative collaboration.
