We went for wings Tuesday evening. The waitor who was also the bartender has been awesome both times we have been!! Also the wings are great too!

We had our Christmas party here the food was fantastic and the service was amazing thanks OJ's for everything

Very friendly and fast service. The waitress was friendly and so outgoing. It was 9pm and pretty busy. Def will be back.

So far have enjoyed every visit to this location! Great servers and great food!

Went to OJ's on Sunday and can't really say anything good about it ... they were out of the beer I ordered, out of the appetizer I ordered, sent the poutine back because the fries were cold, ordered med-rare steak sandwich but it was more like blue rare, table was dirty, the cook came out and he looked like hell, server was clearly not interested in being there and nothing interesting on the TV (unless you're into Dr Ho's infomercials.) Definitely NOT an $85 experience and we tipped accordingly ... to which the server rolled her eyes.

Went in for supper for 4 on a not too busy night. Maybe 6 tables getting food. Main courses and appetizers showing up together. One main meal showed up cold, another was completely wrong thing. One showed up in parts (steak on one plate, one side 5 minutes later on another) third person waited 15 minutes for main to show up after everyone else was finished. Staff seemed bored and uninterested and made excuses about kitchen being backed up. Would hate to go on a busy night.

Food was fine service was good hockey team of screaming brats and rude parents not so much. Better without kids seeing as parents don't parent. U wanna let your kids run wild go to McDonald's .

Establishment was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing...Our waitress was "Abby", and although she verified my order twice, she still brought me out the wrong flavor of wings. I didn't complain-just ate them anyway. After requesting our bill, we watched Abby serve/take orders/deliver to at least 8 other tables before she finally brought it. As my friend used the debit machine, Abby stood there looking uninterested with her arms crossed in front of her. No smile, no personality. I hope my friend didn't leave a tip. Was disappointed, honestly. I expected a great service, seeing as I had heard it was a great place to go enjoy some time out!

WOW! Just tried ordering take out after the third phone call we were told their not doing take out because their to busy..seriously!? Way to deny business! Won’t be giving them anymore business or recommending them to ANYONE!

Terrible food quality. As someone who ran an oj's kitchen for 2 years I expect better.

Our food was over cooked, undercooked or too spicy. Service was terrible no apology or quality checks. Never coming here ever again. If you do come have low expectations. Not the Original Joes I am used to.



Probably some of the worst service I have ever received. We had to send back almost every dish at our table and never was there an apology. We also asked if there was any way they could make my mom a chicken Caesar wrap and she didn't even ask the kitchen or a manager. No smiles at all and we had about 4 different people serving our table. It was a mess.



Calamari was way overcooked to the point that no one could eat it. There was also random bones in it. the oil in your deep fryer obviously needs to be changed as the calamari was really dark. My mother's sweet potato fries were way undercooked and cold. My friend ordered the drunken noodles with mild spice and it came out so spicy none of us could eat it and the server told us after we complained that mild is usually too spicy for most people. That should be told to people before they eat it. then when her replacement came out with no spice the noodles were not soft. I also did not get a steak knife with my beef dip and it took forever to get a quality check done on our food.





This used to be my mother's favorite place to go eat and now we will never go back there again. We are so disappointed with the service. No smiles no thank you's or when we said please or thank you no one acknowledged us for saying you're welcome. we had at least 4 different people serving us so that was confusing. There was no apology for our food being terrible. We had to keep asking to have our water refilled. All around just a terrible experience. Very heartbreaking.

Order came in incorrect, and my wife had raw chicken in the salad �. Not a great experience.

Never in my life have I waited such an inordanant amount of time to wait for a simple steak sandwich. The service was poor and the restaurant was pretty much empty meaning being busy is not even an excuse.



They lost a customer today, I will not be returning here.

Just ate lunch here yesterday. Had chicken soup and cheese toast. Ended up with killer food poisoning! Throwing up, severe stomach pain and the works. I'm guessing the soup was old, not stored or served at proper temperatures. Sad!

Incredibly disappointed with the service we received tonight.



We order Brussels sprouts, a poutine, a grilled cheese kids meal and a club wrap....all super quick and simple, 2 of the orders being appetizers...



Now I can understand when you’re busy and everything’s a little backed up that things can take a little extra time to come out...

but for everything to take 45 minutes plus, and then come out cold, and hard, is just unacceptable.



Once we let our server know the condition of our incredibly late, cold and hard food, she said the manager would be by to speak with us..



I’m thinking ok cool, because this stuff is definitely supposed to be hot...and it’s cold, and hard.



5 minutes go by...10 minutes...15.....I ask the server once again if the manager is coming....she says “the manager says we can remake it or we can discount the meal...”



We’ve now waited 45 minutes for the shit food, on top of the 15 plus for someone to fix this shit food...so I give up and ask for the bill. Another 10 minutes go by before we actually get to pay and head out the door �



The manager never did end up making it to our table by the way. Not even an “I’m sorry we’re really slammed, desserts on us, or let me take care of the Brussels since you haven’t even touched them because there’s brussel iceballs” kind of apology. Nothing.



I would’ve been understanding, had someone tried to actually fix the issue, or even apologized for the service, but there was literally no care shown and that’s what’s appalling.



Very disappointed in the lack of customer satisfaction shown there tonight �

I do not recommend Original Joe's in Medicine Hat at all. My husband and I went there last night and I got the drunken noodles, spice level 1 (lowest) and it was SO SPICY!!/terrible flavour/hardly any vegetables, I could barely eat it, only ate it because I was so hungry. He got the quinoa mushroom burger and said it was good but this morning we both have stomach issues and don't feel well at all. I can't even eat anything other than toast and coffee. Also the service and wait time for food was extremely slow and it was hot and noisy in there. All around bad experience.

Horrible service there tonight! Food was late, cold fries, asked for a water after my beer. Water never came. Sat and waited for the bill for a long time. Totally regret giving a tip that wasn’t deserved. Will not return.

Don’t eat here!

Absolutely horrible service, and disgusting food - we will never be back.

Once our food finally did arrive, it was gross. No one refilled our drinks, or even asked how our food was, in fact, we didn’t see our waitress again until over an hour later, when we finally received our bill.

We wanted nothing more than to walk out and end that terrible experience.

Don't go here!! The food is awful. Takes forever to get your order.

There are other great restaurants in Medicine Hat.. avoid this Original Joe's
