Orofacial Myology / Myofunctional therapy is a therapy which deals only with the muscles of the face, neck, and tongue. It is the re-education or re-patterning of the oral and facial muscles.


The goals of oral myology include but are not limited to :
- Reducing mouth breathing and encouraging nasal breathing. Nasal breathing promotes restful sleep and improves day time concentration
