Overhead Door Company Of Calgary

Very disappointed in the quality of products. The opener on my garage was installed as part of the original build in 2014. It's a Legacy model 850 and according the manufacturer, this product should have a usable life of 15 to 20 years. I had the system for 3 years before the electronic board was fried. Calling the service department was an effort in futility. Their only offer of a solution was to send a repair technician out, indicating that there would be charges for labour and that only the parts replaced might be covered by warranty. One of the fundamental reasons consumers report dissatisfaction with a product is the unwillingness of a company to stand behind the very products they sell. I have no interest in replacing this opener with another of Overhead Door's products for fear that I may end up in the same situation down the road. As a result of this situation, they have eternally damaged their brand in my eyes and I cannot, in good faith, recommend or purchase their products ever again.

From the first call, to the service by Dustin, our technician who came onsite today. We would recommend this company to anyone looking in the Calgary area.
