The receptionist Amanda is truly a piece of work, extremely rude when asked any questions and even hung up on me. I complained to management at the time and they obviously did nothing. This place is the worst.

Doctors never seem to have time to listen and fix the problem.

Big sign on window that states “walk-ins welcome “. If you are a walk-in, they want to set you up for an appointment for some other time. If people are expected to have appointment, then don’t advertise “walk-ins welcome “. Thank you for wasting our time and gas to drive over here.

Walked in with a 4 year old with a likely UTI and then was told the walk in doctor would not be there until noon and she would need to wait, a four year old should be seen fairly quickly not have to wait.

Amanda, the receptionist, has a not-so-quite pleasant manner of conversing over the phone with patients. It came so condescending like I'm so stupid for asking questions. Maybe she means well but she needs to listen to her over-the-phone voice. Her cadence and tone are not quite friendly and welcoming. It does sound rude and comes out as "don't you understand?!' when what I was trying to do was to double check the facts of my appointment. Doctors here should read this clinic's review because the low ratings are actually about their call-takers, which are the first point of contact over their services. I honestly felt slighted.

Experience over the phone with reception was horrible. In the end I was told to go somewhere else and they hung up.

My Dr Kam was wonderful.
I booked a Physical and and they called me a week before to confirm.
It was for the 28th of December and with Christmas and new years i got totally busy and called the 29th to ask if I had my appointment today.
She said it was yesterday and you now owe 120.00 because it was for a half hour physical .
I just feel that calling a week before the appointment was way too long and I chose to go to another clinic instead of paying the 120.00
My new Dr's staff called me the day before my appointment and I was thinking why didn't Parkland do that.
Again Dr Kam was really nice and I'm sad not to be able to see him because of an office policy that doesn't make sense to me as far as the length of time goes.
By the way Ive never missed an appointment there previously, it was just the holidays and the busy pace of it all.

Parkland Medical has a wonderful team of physicians who take the time to listen and understand the patient's problems. For those who have written negative reviews on waiting longer and comments like "I would never recommend this place". That in my opinion is not a good enough reason to write a negative review. The physicians take the extra care to listen to more than one problem, help come up with solutions and document the visits so obviously it will take time. The physicians who take the extra time to care for their patients sometimes can go over the appointment time so it can result in other patients waiting. Physicians cannot always predict the level of patient concerns so all I am saying is that complaining about waiting times is not a good enough reason to bash a clinic.

Truly this clinic takes care of their patients and I highly recommend this place if anyone is looking for a good physician.
